Richard Rider’s Nova possesses some of the same abilities with his connection to the Nova Force, with his own version of super-powered energy pulses and beams included, but Jean wants him on the team for his vast knowledge of the cosmos. Though Rocket Raccoon has his own enhanced strength and agility to a degree, he’s also needed for the knowledge he can provide, but as an expert in technology.Being a powerful Asgardian hero, Sif joins the roster forher understanding of cosmic history, the Warlock’s Eye, and for her own superhuman skills in sword-fighting combat, including strength and durability.
