While the officials did not share many details, they did confirm that Night City characters will step into the world of Solaris, meaning we might see a couple ofEdgerunnerscharacters becoming playable inWuthering Waveslater down the line.
Lucy is one of the main characters in the anime and is likely to be a part of the collab. Based on the character popularity, David and Rebecca are also likely to join theWuwaroster. Since they will be a part of theCyberpunk: Edgerunnerscollab, they will probably be released as 5-star characters. It will be interesting to see how the developers design their kits to fit the world of Solaris.

At the time of writing, the only other information we have about the collaboration event is that it will be launched in 2026. Interestingly, the New Federation is one of the technologically advanced nations inWuthering Waves. It is the only known nation besides Huanglong and Rinascita, and is expected to be released soon. And sinceCyberpunk: Edgerunnersis also based in a futuristic world, the surprise collab could be launched after the release of New Federation.
