Boulder Forest In Toshara
To find the Smoke Bomb Compressor inStar Wars Outlaws, you must go through the wind tunnel cave in the north section of Boulder Forest on Toshara, as marked in the image above. To get through this wind tunnel, however, you need to unlock the Speeder Boost upgrade by completing the mission “The Mechanic.” You’ll unlock this mission by following the Intel for “Boosting the Speeder,” which you get from Danka about four hours into the story.
Completing The Mechanic will grant you the ability to use a temporary boost whenever you’re riding your Speeder. You need to use this boost to get through the wind tunnel and access the Smoke Bomb Compressor. Once you already have this upgrade, it’s even easier than learninghow to lockpick inStar Wars Outlawsto get into chests.

Use the Speeder Boost right at the wind tunnel cave’s entrance. Otherwise, players can get blown back out if the timing is wrong.
