Today’s Connections Category Hints
NOVEMBER 11 #519
If you want to finish today’s puzzle early, you will need a few clues to do so. This puzzle has a lot of words that feel like they should not go together when you first glance at them. It is theopposite problem to having too many words that go together, as it may be harder to decide on categories. One category in particular may only make sense to about half the population, but we have clues to help you sort that out:
9 Helpful Tips To Beat The Password Game (& 1 Useless One)
The Password Game can be frustrating as it uses complex mechanics that can be difficult to figure out, even with help.
After you have looked at the clues and considered whether they have helped you or not, you can move on andlook at the category names below.

___ BIRD
MARS
PAYDAY
I got two other categories first and then I was looking at the remaining words feeling a bit confused. However, then I felt quite silly as I saw CRUNCH and MARS and it hit me that we were talking about a candy bar and not something else. Perhaps with Halloween being so recent, candy bars should have been a little easier to recognize. Although it was not, it did make me hungry and made me crave something chocolatey as I was finishing up this article.
SUBSTANCE
THRUST
This category is about getting to the heart of things, and I was able to get this one fairly quickly today. At first glance, these words do all seem quite different.CORE and SUBSTANCE seem the most similar, and that was what caught my attention. MEAT also came fast after that, but for a minute I thought I must be trying to make a connection that wasn’t there. I did not think of THRUST as meaning “gist” at first, but I added it in with my guess and fortunately, it was correct.
8 NYT Spelling Bee Strategies To Keep Your Streak Alive
The Spelling Bee puzzles created as a New York Times game build a streak of correct answers to get you more points, but they can be hard to keep.
SPORTS
WIRELESS
If you do not have to wear one of these, you likely would not recognize these words unless you have had to do some extensive shopping before. As it was, I had just gone shopping for one and therefore recognized the words way faster than even I would have if I had not. These are all very different kinds of the same thing, but you will have one that is the best bra andcannot ever be replacedno matter how hard you try.
LADY
SUE
I came to this category last and I saw the final answers. Admittedly, I didn’t have any idea who SUE Bird was, or if that was even a person. As usual, it wasmy lack of sports knowledge that was my downfall, but at least I didn’t have to figure it out until I had finished everything else. Sports will never not be my worst enemy in aConnectionspuzzle.
