The Wheel of Timeseason 4 gets a hopeful update from star Rosamund Pike. Returning to Prime Video in March,season 3 has continued its central focus on characters like Pike’s Moiraine Damodred andRand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski). But the Prime Video adaptation of the Robert Jodan and Brandon Sanderson stories has also kept one eye on its future, bringing in new pivotal characters and expanding the story’s scope en route to becoming one of the long-running fantasy dramas on streaming.
In an interview withWTHR, Pike addressed whether the adaptation will return for season 4. The actor, an Oscar nominee for her performance inGone Girl, said that Prime Video hasn’t yet renewed season 4. However, sheremains hopeful that a renewal will happen, saying that Amazon and co-production company Sony Pictures Television are “incredibly lucky” to work on a unique property likeThe Wheel of Time. “I really hope that we get to continue this journey because the fans deserve it, the books deserve it, and our actors deserve it.”
