Nintendo has announced that theNintendoAlarmorelease for the general public has been postponed until March. The Nintendo branded alarm clock uses Nintendo character animations, sounds, and images, and can be interacted with using gestures. The clock was originally released in “early access” for Nintendo Switch Online members only, with plans to release to the rest of the world in early 2025.
Now, Nintendo of Europe has announced onXthatthe Alarmo release has been delayed from mid-January to early March. Until then, Nintendo states that the Alarmo “will remain a timed exclusive offer for Nintendo Switch Online members.” The clock is priced at $99.99 and is only available for purchase to Nintendo Online members.

From the wording of the posting,there seems to be no guarantee that Nintendo will be selling the clock on their website, or if it will continue only being available for members through their online storefront.
News of this delay comes in the midst of heightened speculation about Nintendo’s impending Switch 2 announcement, which is rumored to begetting an announcement any day now. The Nintendo Alarmo’s new release window of March 2025 actually coincides with the leaked release window for the company’s next console, leading to questions about whether the two devices will be linked in any way. Non-member fans who want aNintendo Alarmowill have to wait until later in the year and hope they’re in the right country and have the right retailers near them to be able to purchase one.
