We were so sad because we did not get to resolve it, and that season ended on a crazy cliffhanger. The people who enjoyed that show were cheated out of a conclusion. But it’s so classic with TV. Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll do a Will & Grace and we’ll bring it back. I would be open to that. We’d be old. We’d be like two 60-year-olds, but not the ’60s old. It would be different. There’d be a time jump.

Can The Sitcom Really Get Revived?

However,2 Broke Girlswas a breakout series for both of its stars, airing from 2011 to 2017 and earning polarizing responses; while critics praised its leads' chemistry, some criticized the show for its sexual and sometimes racial jokes.

Our Take On 2 Broke Girls Getting Revived

If It Does, The Show Will Be Very Different

Given that2 Broke Girlsoriginally focused on Max and Caroline when they were younger, a revival with the characters being decades older would mean a very stark change to its formula. It could still be used to highlight the difficulties of working multiple jobs to earn a living, but it could branch out with new subjects that resonate with audiences who are also now older and in new positions in life. A revival would prove very different from the original, and would be interesting, even if it’s not possible right now.
