Now that it is the highest-grossing unrated movie of all time, every milestone it hits pushes its gross even further past the previous record-holder, which was the concert documentaryRenaissance: A Film by Beyoncé. That 2023 title only earned $33.89 million at the domestic box office, thoughTerrifier 3’s domestic haul has even outgrossed its worldwide total of $43.99 million.

Our Take On The Terrifier 3 Milestone

Another Installment Seems Guaranteed

Given the fact that Halloween is over, and early November tends to see diminishing returns for horror releases,Terrifier 3may not pass many more domestic milestones by the end of its run. However, the fact that it has more than tripled the gross of the previous installment in North America alone likely means that thepossibleTerrifier 4is going to be greenlit before long and given a chance to do even better than the 2024 release, potentially further pushing the envelope on the new installment’s already record-breaking run.
