When new DLCs come out for huge open-world RPGs likeStarfield, every fan wants to know what sort of new weapons and gear they can collect during their new adventure. TheShattered SpaceDLC is no different. As you explore the home of House Va’ruun, you may collecteight new weaponsand unlock a whole new form of combat.
A majority of the new weapons inStarfield: Shattered Spaceareenergy-based weapons dropped by enemieson Va’ruun’kai upon defeat. The DLC introduces one new Rare weapon and one new Epic weapon, both of which arelocked behind quests. It won’t be too hard for you to collect the best weapons this DLC has to offer.

Every New Shattered Space DLC Weapon In Starfield
Weapons Of House Va’ruun
Six of the eight new weapons inStarfield: Shattered Spaceare Va’ruun weapons; either heavy weapons or laser guns, with one notable addition toStarfield’s melee weapon roster. These new weapons are dropped by enemies (usually Vortex Phantoms or Zealots) after combat, but can also be found in chests and weapon racks. The other two new weapons in the DLC are specific quest rewards.
How To Start Starfield: Shattered Space DLC
Starfield’s DLC expansion, Shattered Space, has been released. What should you know before diving into the Shattered Space? And how do you start it?
Sadly,you cannot purchase any of the new weaponsfrom thevendors on Va’ruun’kaior any other vendor inStarfield. You have to collect them from enemies or quests. There are multiple copies of the new Va’ruun weapons scattered across the new map, so don’t feel like you’re stuck with the one copy you may find early on. Keep exploring, and you should find better and better variants.

Speaker’s Judgment
Laser Rifle
The Va’ruun Schimaz is a great way to take advantage ofStarfield’s recent melee upgrades, although it can be hard to use since many of the enemies inStarfield: Shattered Spaceteleport. you may collect a unique variant of the Va’ruun Schimazwhen you start ‘The Promised, Broken’, a quest given by Ekris.
There are also two reliable ways to collect the Va’ruun Starstorm. The first is toloot a chest on the Oraclefollowing your battle with Sirak Ve’thaal, and the other is bycompleting ‘Zealous Overreach’.

The Fang’s Rifle and Speaker’s Judgment are more unique weapons restricted to specific rewards. To get The Fang’s Rifle, you must complete ‘Legacy of the Fang’. During this quest, you have topersuade Farud to give his daughter Maaliya the Broken Fangafter fixing it. Once the quest is done, you have a chance of running into Maaliya at Va’ruun camps. From there, you must eitherkill her or stun her with EM weaponsso you’re able to loot her body for The Fang’s Rifle.
Speaker’s Judgment, meanwhile, is your reward for reaching theend ofStarfield: Shattered Space’s main story. Near the end of the final quest, ‘The Scaled Citadel’,there should be a Science Cratethat holds the easily missed weapon. Shattered Space Grenades, Explained
A Whole New Way To Kill
The new weapons inStarfield: Shattered Spaceare fun, but in more interesting news, the DLC introduces a whole new mechanic for combat:Vortex Grenades. After you complete ‘The Promised, Broken’, you’ll be able to craft Vortex Grenades. Each grenade has a unique effect, but if you like all the available Vortex Grenade types, it may be easier to craftVortex Grenade - Unstableover the other variants.

You can collect Vortex Shards and Vortex Cysts bydefeating Vortex Phantoms and Vortex Horrors, two of the new enemy variants found around Va’ruun’kai. While you’ll have to collect a lot of materials if you hope to have a lot of grenades on hand, these new Vortex Grenades are a great addition to combat alongside the new weapons ofStarfield: Shattered Space.
