Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: Inquisitors #2
Summary
Star Warshas revealed that the Jedi essentially had their very own Inquisitor during the Dark Times. Following Order 66 and the Jedi Purge, Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader employed their Jedi-hunting Inquisitors to track down and either kill or corrupt any survivors to the dark side. However,Star Wars’newest comic series has just revealed a brand-new kind of hunter, one who’s tracking down the Empire’s own Inquisitors.
Having been introduced in the first issue,Star Wars: Inquisitors #2continues the dynamic story of Tensu Run, a former Jedi Knight who’s managed to accrue a large following inhis attempts to rebuild the Jedi Order. Following the death of his master in the series' first issue,Tensu Run has elected to stop hiding the evading the Inquisitors and to instead track them down and face them all directly, seemingly one by one.

Presenting a direct challenge to the Fifth Brother, it’s clear thatTensu Run is determined to face as many Inquisitors as he can in a bold bid to defy the Empire, even more than he already was by trying to rebuild the Jedi Order.

Tensu Run Is Done Hiding From The Imperial Inquisitors
He Now Wants To Face Them One by One
In this new issue andshowdown with the Fifth Brother himself, Tensu Run doesn’t pull any punches. Following their brief duel, Tensu ends up severing one of the Inquisitors' limbs. However, he ends up letting the Jedi-hunter live, confirming that he wants his master told that he too still lives and will presumably continue his new crusade tracking down and incapacitating as many of these dark side wielding assassins as he can.
At the moment,it seems as though Tensu Run is tracking down and hunting Inquisitors with the mission of maiming them, effectively mitigating their ability to serve the Sith short of outright murder. However, things could certainly change. After all, Tensu Run has already had a critical encounter with the dark side even before he faced Fifth Brother in this new issue.

How Far Will Tensu Run Go In His Mission?
He May Be In Danger Of Embracing The Dark Side…
Attacked by raiders on his way to face the Fifth Brother,Tensu Run makes the unorthodox decision as a Jedito kill all the pirates. Having had no time for them, Tensu knew they would simply pursue him if he tried to escape. As such, he killed two of the three fighters even while acknowledging that what he was doing was wrong.
Likewise, Tensu Run also kills the third pirate even as the thug is surrendering, not wanting his legend to be tainted with stories claiming he was a taker of lives. Instead, Tensu leaves none alive to tell the tale as he resumes his mission for the Inquisitor. Keeping that in mind,it certainly seems as though Tensu’s hunt will only continue to take him to dark places as the newStar Warsseries continues, potentially even leading to his own dark side corruption at its end.
