Solo Levelingisa top-tier anime seriesin two key areas:its story and its animation.Without a good story, even the most exciting-looking series can feel shallow and boring. Conversely, a gripping story without high-quality animation feels more like a novel than a true anime.
Thankfully, Jinwoo doesn’t face problems in either category. His series is atrue edgy animein the best ways possible. The story thatSolo Levelingexists upon is intriguing enough to keep anyone entertained, and the animation is superb, to say the least. These two elements are precisely why Jinwoo’s fight against Igris the Bloodred is phenomenal. The battle highlights all the reasons you should watch this series, inone of the best anime fights of 2024.

The story itself is incredibly gripping, setting Jinwoo against bleak elements and not giving him a moment of respite. Even as he grows to become one of the strongest characters in the series, he continually takes on forces mightier than he is, so that he may overcome them and reach his true potential.
Jinwoo’s unbelievable transformationfrom the weakest Hunter in the world to arguably the strongest by the second season makes the series a must-watch. A lot of other shōnen series attempt whatSolo Levelinggoes for. They want good fights, expert animation, and a dark character like Jinwoo, but they can’t pull it off.
