Premiering in 2022 and developed by star Jared Keeso, the series follows Shore (Keeso) as he takes on the challenge of the struggling Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization team, the Sudbury Bulldogs. Putting his professional reputation on the line, Shoresy gains control of the team and vows to keep the Bulldogs from being run out of the league by any means necessary.

Coming more than a month before the fourth season arrived in the United States, the latest news confirms thatShoresyseason 5 has been renewed. As the hockey comedy continues evolving into something new, Crave (the show’s host network in Canada) has opted to giveShoresyanother go around.It’s important to note that Hulu (the show’s host in the United States) hasn’t picked up season 5 yet, but there’s little doubt that the duo of networks will work together again. Few details are known about season 5 yet, but with season 4 already finished, they should start surfacing soon.
Shoresy Season 5 Is Confirmed
The Hockey Comedy Is Coming Back Again
With the show evolving, it could wrangle in even more viewers in future seasons.
Taking suspense entirely out of the equation,Shoresyseason 5 was confirmed a few weeks before season 4’s debutin Canada and more than a month before it premiered in the US on Hulu. The Canadian smash-hit has been arriving at a consistent clip since 2022, and has managed to deliver a season per year since then. The show’s renewal isn’t all that surprising considering its overwhelming popularity, and it rivalssports comedies likeTed Lassoin its universal appeal. With the show evolving, it could wrangle in even more viewers in future seasons.

Hulu has yet to follow suit and renew season 5, but the streamer has worked closely with the Canadian network Crave since the beginning, and the order is imminent. No production details are known for the upcoming episodes yet, but considering its extremely consistent release schedule,Shoresyseason 5 will likely drop in the early days of 2026. As with previous seasons, it will probably run in Canada first as a weekly program, before dropping all at once on Hulu in the US.

Shore & His Teammates Return In Season 5
Though the full cast ofShoresyseason 5 hasn’t been announced yet, there are already a handful of confirmed returns. Naturally, creator and starJared Keeso is set to return as the foul-mouthed bruiser, Shore, and Shoresy’s Bulldogs teammates will likely join him in season 5 too. According toVariety,Taysa Teles will be back as Nat, the owner of the Bulldogs who has a strained relationship with Shoresy and his methods to save the team. Additionally, Blair Lamora and Keilani Rose will be back as Ziigwan and Miigwan, respectively, Nat’s no-nonsense assistants.

Former professional hockey player Jonathan-Ismaël Diaby is set to return to the show as his hip-hop alter-ego, Dolo, and he’ll be joined by fellow ex-NHLer Terry Ryan who plays Ted “Hitch” Hitchcock. It’s highly likely that other former and currentprofessional hockey players will appear inShoresyseason 5, but it’s unclear who will join the cast until more information is available.
