Resident Alienbriefly mentioned a specific race of extraterrestrials as far back as the show’s first run of episodes 2021, and although they haven’t really been heavily addressed since,Resident Alienseason 4’s confirmationopens the door for their official debut. By theend ofResident Alienseason 3, the sci-fi dramedy introduced a handful of new interstellar species who had never appeared in the previous two batches of episodes. So, it would make sense for theResident Alienseason 4 to keep that trend going.
Alan Tudyk’s Harry Vanderspeigleis an alien in human form. Although he now sees Earth as his home,Harry originates from another planet entirelyand boasts vast knowledge of the other extraterrestrial races, along with their physical and behavioral traits. Some of these fictitious species have been mentioned in passing, but many have only been offhandedly referenced or described. The race in question fits into this category.

The Reptilians Should Be A Secondary Villain In Resident Alien Season 4
Harry describes the race as “insidious creatures” in Resident Alien season 1
InResident Alienseason 1, episode 8, “End of the World As We Know It,” Asta Twelvetrees (Sara Tomko) and Harry become trapped down an icy crevasse. While awaiting rescue, Harry’s injuries lead to Asta discovering he’s an alien in disguise, which results in Tudyk’s character teaching Asta a little about life from beyond the stars. During the impromptu lesson,Harry mentions a species that he refers to only as “The Reptillans,“who are, “trying to take over the universe by using the earth as a laboratory for hybridization.” Harry later turns out to be wrong, but not completely.
Resident Alienseason 4’s primary villainis highly likely to be the Mantid, sothe Reptilians would need to take a supporting role if they showed upat all. Interestingly, there is no guarantee that the Reptilians would have ill intent if they were to make their debut in the upcoming season. On the other hand, the fact that Harry would suspect the race to be capable of what he accused them of inResident Alienseason 1 makes it unlikely they will be Earth’s allies.

Why Resident Alien Season 4 Is The Perfect Time To Introduce The Reptilians
Alan Tudyk’s comedy sci-fi show has been gradually increasing its variety of aliens
A later revelation in the show leads Harry to discoverit is the Grey Aliens who are present on Earth and not the Reptilians. During his research, he namedrops a snake-like species known as the Alpha Draconians, who are most likely the race to whom Harry is referring in “End of the World As We Know It.” With the Greys starting to get a little old as the looming bad guys, the time is perfect for a new nefarious race to enter the fray.
9 Biggest Resident Alien Season 4 Theories That Could Actually Happen
Elements of Resident Alien season 4’s story are relatively easy to predict, but some of the upcoming events require a bit more conjecture than most.
The story so far has only introduced new alien races as and when it made sense, andResident Alienseason 4 is the perfect opportunity to do just that with the saga’s reptilian villains. Along with the Mantid, the dramedy recently allowed species like the Blue Avians to be canonized, as well as the unfortunate member of the unknown race killed and eaten by the Mantid in the season 3 finale. Therefore, it would make sense forResident Alienseason 4 to expand the lore even further.
