This revelation comes as beloved Marvel hero Spider-Man fights for his life against a Predator so infamous that his own species wants him taken out.
The advanced synopsis forPredator vs. Spider-Man#3, written by Benjamin Percy, with art by Marcelo Ferreira, teases that “a hunting party has arrived in New York” to eliminate the central antagonist of the series, “Skinner – the Predator with no clan or code.”
In other words,readers are primed for some gory Yautja-on-Yautja violence, with Spider-Man and the rest of New York’s populace caught in the middle,in what could turn out to be the unexpected match-up of the year from Marvel Comics.

Marvel is pulling out all the stops as Spider-Man takes on a Predator with no honor and no hesitation in butchering New York’s citizens.
Predator vs. Spider-Man’sinnovation on the Yautja is Skinner, a Predator who does not adhere to the moral code that his people hold sacred. The natural extension of that is, of course, conflict between Skinner and other Yautja. The synopsis forPredator vs. Spider-Man#3 promises exactly this:
Honor killing! Skinner — the Predator with no clan or code — is more than the enemy of Spider-Man and the target of Kraven. He’s also detested by his fellow Yautja. A hunting party has arrived in New York. And all hell is about to break loose.
Here, Marvel has reminded readers that, as the galaxy’s greatest hunters,the Yautja are understandably also its greatest prey, and in the process ratcheted the conflict ofPredator vs. Spider-Manto an entirely new level of tension.
