If you are hoping to break into the meta with a new deck inPokémon TCG Pocket, you may try out the Greninja and Weezing combination. If you have had trouble keeping a Pokémon on the bench, thiscombination can tank some hits all the while whittling down your opponent’s health. It can counter the big psychic-type decks, such as Mewtwo EX, as well as handle most decks that don’t have a direct advantage.
Withnew cards being added toPokémon TCG Pocketsoon, it is time to get your tweaking and experimenting completed soyou can start trying out new combos. However, this is one combo that can get you through this expansion until the next one comes out. While it does still have some weaknesses, it can be afairly powerful deck when it counts, and it has more staying power than others.

The newmeta deck for Greninja and Weezingfloating around has a lot of similarities for everyone using it. Typically, these decks use only those two Pokémon along with their evolution lines. Filling out the rest of the10-card deck is a host of Support cards, mainly those with Koga and Sabrina. There are others as well, but they are not considered to be as important.

Best Strategy To Win With a Greninja And Weezing Deck
Staying Alive & Keeping Enemies At Bay
The main strategy with this deck is to be able tokeep your Greninja on the benchand do a fair amount of damage with the Weezing in the meantime, with the goal of keeping your opponent Poisoned. With the Articuno, if you lose your Weezing you will be able to do a fair amount of damage andkeep your opponent paralyzedif you get lucky.
This deck is all aboutsurvivability, with Sabrina able to pull cards back off the Active position to heal them and Koga able to put cards back in your hand to replay them. This can be a nice cycle if you can keep it up. I like to include a copy ofMisty, so that I could load up the Articuno with lots of energy. Notably, Articuno has an EX version, but I did use the regular version specifically for the paralyzation possibility.
Misty can be fairly hit or miss, so Ionly included the one copy. You could easily replace her entirely with another Potion or Sabrina.
This deck inPokémon TCG Pocket’sBattle Systemwill be weak againstElectric and Ground-types, but will be fairly strong and survivable elsewhere. I even played this into a Ground-type with the cards I had available at the time, which had a fair amount of substitutions, and it still survived and beat a Ground-type deck.Pikachu is going to be the worst threatyou face.
One weakness was that it can take time to get Greninja set up if youneed to get all three evolutions out, but you can speed it up by using Misty on the Articuno if you need to stall for time. As usual, there are a lot of potential complications, but you will have to practice and find out on your own how to hone this deck. A goodTentacruel can also keep your enemy damagedby status effects, so keep that in mind if you need something else.
Otherwise, this deck should do everything you need it to do once you get the feel for how to handle it.Aggro decks might be your nightmare, but you may be able to mitigate that with the tricks you have for moving cards around. Eventually, you’re able to have the perfect Greninja and Weezing deck in thePokémon TCG Pocketas you collect more cards.
