Dynamax Passimian makes its debut this month inPokémon GOand is featured as part of Max Mondays. The regular event occurs every Monday between 6 pm and 7 pm local time, featuring a different Pokémon weekly. Dynamax Passimian is set to take center stage on Monday, July 24, 2025. For this hour, Dynamax Passimian is the only Pokémon that can be found in Power Spots.
April’s Max Mondaysfocus on Wooloo, Sobble, and Falinks,but Passimian is the only new Dynamax Pokémon to be introduced this month. It has already been featured inPokémon GOin regular raids, but this is its first time in Max Battles. If you can defeat it on Max Mondays, you will get the chance to catch the Pokémon in its Dynamax form. Fairy Flying and Psychic Types Vital
Passimian is a pure Fighting-type, which has several weaknesses and resistances. While it is not one of the strongest Pokémon to use in PvP battles, it is a 3-Star difficulty battle, making it vital that you are aware of its weaknesses. It isweak to Fairy-, Flying-, and Psychic- type attacks, which take an additional 60% damage. To give you the best chance of victory, you should use Pokémon with these types of attacks.
All Ditto Disguises In Pokemon GO (April 2025)

Two Legendary Gen 1 Pokémon,Moltres and Zapdos,are both dual Flying-types, meaning they can set up Flying-type attacks. Moltres has the edge over the two as it has Fast and Charged attacks that can be both Flying-type.
The Pokémon you select will use different moves, Max Moves, compared to normal battles. These will be determined by the types of moves that Pokémon is set up with before entering a Max Battle.
While not as strong as the Legendary options,Unfezant is a Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon that can learn a host of Flying moves which will be super-effective against Dynamax Passimian.
Other counters that can be included in your team are Gengar when given a Psychic-type move,Charizardwith Flying-type attacks, or Metagross with Psychic-type attacks. Dynamax Passimian is a newly introduced Pokémon toPokémon GOand can be defeated as long as you set up with the best counters for Max Mondays.
