All Pokémon Debuts During Bug Out 2025
Two New Pokémon To Catch
While there have been a lot of recent events inPokémon GO, not many have contained brand-new Pokémon debuts, with many instead featuring new shiny versions, or the return of rare Pokémon. Thankfully, we have two full new debuts joining the game as part of Bug Out 2025. Originally introduced into the series from the Galar region,Sizzlipede and its evolved form Centiskorch both make their debuts. Sizzlipede has a unique Bug- and Fire- type, making it one you do not want to miss out on. This followsthe Deep Depths event, which saw the debuts of Nickit and Thieval.
Once you have captured a Sizzlipede, you will need to earn 50 of its candies before you’re able to evolve it into Centiskorch.

While not appearing in the wild as a spawning Pokémon, there are a number of different ways that you can add it to your Pokédex during the event. During Bug Out 2025, there will be free-timed research that all trainers can participate in. Completing these research tasks will reward you withPokémon encounters, including Sizzlipede. In addition, there is paid timed research which will also offer you further battles with it. Finally, from the start of the event, Sizzlipede will start appearing in one-star raids for you to take on, which should be easy to complete, even as a solo player.

For all the 1 star raids, you may make quick work of them with the majority of Pokémon, but it is still advised to use the best counters to defeat them. For 3 star raids, you can defeat them as a solo trainer, but you will need a team full of the best counters to do so. They can also comfortably be beaten with two or three trainers together. Scizor is the best Pokémon on offer and is easier to take on than itsMega Scizor raid version inPokémon Go.

11 Pokémon Will Appear More Often
One of the biggest reasons to play the Bug Out 2025 event inPokémon GOis the increased spawns for a number of Pokémon. All of these are at least part Bug-types to tie in with the event. There are 10 Pokémon that will appear more frequently in the wild for the duration of the event:Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble.
All the Pokémon with increased spawn rates have a chance of being found in their shiny form. One of the bonuses for the event also increases the chance of encounters with the shiny versions of Wurmple and Venipede.

While the majority of Pokémon with the increased spawns are common Pokémon, many now only appear in the game during specific events.
