After afew delays,Phasmophobiawill finally be coming to consoles this year. It’s certainly been a long time coming, and fortunately, the wait won’t be too long with its expected release date set for the game’s Halloween Event.
If we go by the release ofPhasmophobia’spastHalloween releases, console versions may debut around Jun 23, 2025. This includes features like cross-play and VR compatibility. As Kinetic Games continues developing, voice recognition will also be coming soon. However, console players must input text temporarily until the studio finds a solution.

Although it will be available on Xbox,Phasmophobiawill not be on Game Pass. Even more so, there are “no plans” to make it availableon this service. It will be purchasable for $19.99, a six-dollar increase from the PC version. The price difference correlates with the new content that has been added over the years, hence why we’re seeing a slight bump in cost.

Phasmophobia’sconsole debut will match the current 0.10 version, also known as theEventide major update. The farmhouse reworks for Bleasdale and Grafton won’t be a part of this just yet, but it will be introduced soon.
WithPhasmophobiaVersion 1.0 on the horizon, veteran players can look forward to new ghost models, hallucinations, and horrifically entertaining events. And, if you are planning to try it on a console,Kinetic Gameshas indicated that the game’s graphics will be “as close to PC as possible.”

As the console version is set to debut around the Halloween Event, newcomers can rest assured that they won’t be left behind. These celebrations have always been inclusive, allowing all types of players to participate and earn special rewards. Personally, I’m overjoyed to seePhasmophobiafinally making its way to consoles. The prospect of experiencing it on a larger screen is both thrilling and terrifying in equal measure.
