The newOnly Murders in the Buildingseason 4 trailerbegins with Charles, Oliver, and Mabel learning thata Hollywood studio wants to make a movie out of their podcast. In turn, the trio relocates from New York to Los Angeles to meet with studio executives (one of them played by Molly Shannon) and the real actors who will be playing them in the movie, including Eugene Levy as Charles, Zach Galifianakis as Oliver, and Eva Longoria as Mabel.
Kumail Nanjiani, Melissa McCarthy, and Richard Kind – shown in the trailer – also join theOnly Murders in the Buildingcastfor season 4.
Meanwhile, amidst their move to Hollywood,the podcasting trio discovers that Sazz was murdered, as revealed during theOnly Murders in the Buildingseason 3 ending. Since she was Charles' stunt double and was murdered in his apartment, it’s likely that he was the actual target, and therefore, is currently in danger. In turn, the trio hides out with Charles' sister who lives on Long Island, played by McCarthy, and also happens to be an avid fan of Oliver’s.
