As the leader of the teenage Pogues,John B. is also incredibly charismatic and convincing. While his anger can sometimes get the best of him, John B. is always concerned about his friends — and loyal to a fault.

InUglies, Peris' transformation stunts some of his more admirable qualities, but his earlier interactions with Tally give viewers a good sense of who Peris is deep down. Much like John B.,Peris is incredibly loyal to Tally, his long-time best friend, and is determined to create a future where the two of them remain close.
