It launched in March of 2024, and although there were some tweaks, the game largely remained the same for most people until September.It’s a long time to try to play a game that won’t work on your computer, and it’s frustrating for many of us who either have to scale the game down completely or live with the issues.
It hasn’t seemed to hurt the sales ofMonster Hunter Wilds, as it has been breaking records since launch. However, they might see players start to drop off because of the issues if it doesn’t get fixed. The precedent set on other recent Capcom games is concerning, as it means we may not get a playable version of the game until the new school year starts.

Bugs are annoying, and I am prone to finding all of the ones I possibly could. They can change the experience of a game overall,but it’s not as important as improving the performance. Having playedSTALKER 2myself, I can say that it makes a big difference for a game to fix the performance issues as quickly as possible, even if it doesn’t solve every problem immediately. Seeing the improvement made me give the game more chances, but if it doesn’t seem like the problem is getting solved soon, I and many others are more likely to give up.
Monster Hunter Wilds Is Another Great Capcom Game With The Same Silly Caveat
Capcom has once again made a masterpiece with Monster Hunter Wilds, but it has one huge caveat that the developer can’t stop adding to its games.
Monster Hunter Wildsbroke the records right away,but the reviews aren’t coming back glowing. This is a franchise that players typically sink 100s of hours into for each game, but if it isn’t playable, that playtime will drop fast. Other games that have had long-term performance issues at launch have lost a fair amount of their audience, and even when they are eventually fixed, people don’t always go back. It is key to have a playable version of the game out there, and one that doesn’t look like it came out a long time ago.
