The highly anticipated anime adaptation of the webcomic written by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23,The Beginning After the End, has been finally confirmed during the series panel hosted byCrunchyrollat the New York Comic Con event, alongside a first trailer.The Beginning After the Endseason 1 is set to have 24 episodes split into two cours, which will be released in 2025.

According to a post by Kakao’s Entertainment webtoon platform on X@tapas_app,The Beginning After the Endwill be adapted by Studio A-CAT and streamed on Crunchyroll upon its release. The anime will be directed by Keitaro Motonaga, who has previously worked in animes likeKatanagatari,School Days, andDate a Live, while the series composition will be in charge of Takamitsu Kono and the character design by Masami Sueoka.
