Mass Effect Will Not Be Toning Down The Realism The Way Dragon Age: The Veilguard Does
The New Look For Veilguard Doesn’t Suit It, According To Some
Reactions toDragon Age: The Veilguard’srelease trailerand visuals have ranged from praising its beautiful visuals and political intrigue to decrying it as the nail in BioWare’s metaphorical coffin.Part of the controversy surrounding the game comes from the title’s new art direction, which smooths out the edges of the gritty fantasy RPG.

BioWare Is Ready To Move On From Veilguard To Mass Effect
The Next Mass Effect Game Is Probably Already In Development
Now thatDragon Age: The Veilguardis almost out, BioWare is ready to move on to other projects. Although, as Gamble points out, the two teams have different people working on them, the gaming giant as a whole will likely nowshift its focus to theMass Effectfranchise. The last entry in the series was released nearly a decade ago, and now that theDragon Agetitle is finally coming out,it’s time to return to the beloved space sci-fi franchise.
Dragon Age: The Veilguardcomes out on October 31, but there’s no release date or even window forMass Effect 4(or5,depending on who you ask). The only thing fans can be sure of is that it will continue the dark and realistic style of the rest of the games in the franchise.
