Moon Knight is one of the unique Duelist characters inMarvel Rivals, whose abilities harness spiritual powers gifted to him by the god Khonshu. The personalities of Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley unite to glide around the battlefield and surprise opponents. With the right positioning, this complex character can unleash the moon’s wrath to dismantle the synergy of enemy teams.

Duelists are one of the three classes of characters who specialize in dealing damage to enemies to score quick eliminations. Unlike supportive Strategists or bulky Vanguards, Duelists like Moon Knight work best when they target weaker opponents. Thebest characters inMarvel Rivalsfrom the Duelist class are elusive enough to accomplish this goal through abilities that give them extra mobility.

Glide Around The Battlefield

Many of Moon Knight’s abilities are designed tohelp him reposition into areas where enemy teams won’t find him. How To Use Moon Knight’s Ultimate

Haunt Enemy Teams With Khonshu’s Wrath

The Ultimate attack, Hand of Khonshu,is a large AoE attack that summons spectral claws out of the skyonto enemies. Each of these claws deals a lot of damage when they explode onto the ground, but they only cover a certain space you mark. This Ultimate is designed to catch many enemies at once, scoring multiple eliminations against foes who are grouped.

Moon Knight can hold his Ultimate attack to aim where the AoE lands. You can cancel the activation of the Ultimate at any time while you’re aiming, but not once it has been placed.

This ability is best used to contest a choke point or important objective area during a match. For example, if your team needs to capture a specific point, using this Ultimate can eliminate enemies also trying to occupy the same spot. Moon Knight can be eliminated while trying to find the right place to put his Ultimate, so youneed to place it down fast to make sure it activates where you want it.

Best Team Composition For Moon Knight

Become Invisible From Enemies

Team-Up abilities inMarvel Rivalsgive characters new abilities when specific heroes and villains are on the same team together.Moon Knight has one Team-Up abilityyou can gain when a certain Strategist is being played by someone else. Along with this Team-Up pick, here are some other characters that work well with Moon Knight:

Cloak & Dagger gives Moon Knight his Team-Up ability, called"Full Moon.“This gives Moon Knight a new skill where he cancreate a Light and Dark realm that grants himself invisibility for a short duration. This aura of dark and light energy can help Moon Knight escape from opponents pressuring him, or make his position hard to determine as enemies try to pinpoint where he’s attacking from.

The"Full Moon"ability has a 30-second cooldown, making it something you may only use occasionally during a match. This ability resets when you respawn after being eliminated.

The Punisher is another great character to use alongside Moon Knight, as his firearms deal high DPS to enemies. With both Moon Knight and the Punisher, any kind of enemy on a rival team can have their health lowered fast. Magneto is an excellent Vanguard to pair with Moon Knight, as he can gift Moon Knight with a protective bubble that lets him live longer in chaotic fights.

Best Tips, Tricks & Strategies For Winning

Place Ankhs To Always Hit Enemies

The best strategy to win with Moon Knight is toplace your Ankhs in places where opponents can’t see them. Ankhs are physical objects that can be destroyed by enemy characters, with minuscule health bars that cause them to disappear quickly. As a result, you want to put them in areas where enemies will still be in their radius, but they won’t notice them until it’s too late.

Marvel Rivals Gets Its First Major Update That Fixes Some Of The Well-Known Bugs

Shortly after launch, Marvel Rivals received its first major patch, which promises to fix some of the game’s well-known issues and bugs.

Shooting an Ankh causes your Primary and Secondary attacks to bounce off it to strike any enemy within its radius. These attacks can rebound multiple times if more than one enemy is in an Ankh’s aura. You shouldtry to put an Ankh where multiple enemies try to gather, either near contested spots or in between corners where other Duelists, such asSquirrel Girl inMarvel Rivals, like to strike from afar.

Marvel Rivals Press Image 1

You can have two Ankhs placed on the battlefield at a time before they are destroyed. If you try to place down a third after cooldowns, the first one you placed will be replaced with the new one.

When put in the right spots, Ankhs can multiply your damage and cause even the bulkiest Vanguards to lose health fast. You can evenlure opponents near Ankhs before using your Ultimateto catch foes within your AoE. Moon Knight should always be using his Ankhs to deal as much damage as possible while picking off high-priority targets, such as enemy Strategists.

Moon Knightworks best when attacking from high vantage pointswhere he can see enemy character positions. By using his aerial mobility, you can get a bird’s eye view on maps to find the perfect Ankh placements to eliminate enemies. By finding the right space to use Moon Knight’s abilities inMarvel Rivals, you can be a destructive force that opponents will have a hard time stopping.
