Vanessa showed up at the meeting with her three other children. She started by insultingRamses’s hair and style, making fun of his hair and claiming he was still stuck in the 80s. Her mother was rude and aggressive towards him, leaving Marissa uncomfortable.
Marissa comes off as a controlling parent and many might have judged her based on that. Still, she pointed out a few things that were off about Ramses, but her approach was unsettling and aggressive.
Things worsened when Marissa excused herself to go to the washroom. Vanessa grilled Ramses further, asking about his job, and claimed Marissa’s potential salary was better than his. It must have been a horrible situation for Ramses, considering Marissa’s momoften insinuated he was with her for the money. Additionally, the fact that Ramses tried too hard to prove how progressive he was but couldn’t keep his true colors hidden for long showed how much he would have turned out to be a weapon of destruction in Marissa’s life.
