Here are the teased updates for LoL patch 25.S1.4. you may tap or click on them to zoom in. They include buffs to Ashe, Ekko, Gangplank, Jayce, Nautilus, Rakan, Sion, Teemo, and Yasuo. Meanwhile, nerfs go to Garen, Hwei, Kalista, Kog’Maw, Lulu, and Warwick. As for champion adjustments, they go to Mel, Diana, Elise, and Twitch. There are a couple of system buffs and some system nerfs as well — alongside an adjustment to Infinity Edge. As for Swiftplay specifically, Yorick gets a nerf.

Riot Phroxzon shared details about upcoming changes, including adjustments to Mel. Her range and reliability are being reduced, along with a lower forgiveness window on her W and a shorter rank 1 root duration.
“Mel sports a pretty low [win rate] on her first game in particular, but after players have played a few games, this rapidly increases,“he added on X.
On Reddit, Myles “Riot Emizery” Salholm provided more details about Mel’s update.

LoL patch 25.S1.4 release date
LoL patch 25.S1.4 is set to arrive on Feb. 20. This is confirmed by Riot Games' official patch release schedule. The 2025 schedule has a new “year.season.patch-number” format, so that’s why there’s an “S1” part in LoL patch 25.4 now.
