Nearly five years after the two parted ways, Kristen Bell recently reunited with two of herGood Placestars, as confirmed by one of her co-stars. Created byBrooklyn Nine-NineandParks and Recreation’s Michael Schur, the NBC supernatural comedy explored the afterlives of a group of people in what they initially believe to be the titular positive afterlife, only to learn they’re actually in Hell, known in the show as the Bad Place. Danson and Schur recently reteamed for Netflix’sA Man on the Inside, in which the two-time Emmy winner stars as Charles Nieuwendyk, a widower and retired college professor who, seeking new purpose in life, begins working for a private detective and goes undercover at a San Francisco retirement home to find a missing necklace. Adapted by Schur from the Oscar-nominated documentaryThe Mole Agent,A Man on the Insidehas garnered rave reviewsfrom critics and audiences alike, many of whom have noteda variety of Easter eggs and references toThe Good Place.
One such connection viewers noticed in the season finale is a character donning one of the sweaters Kristen Bell’s Eleanor Shellstrop wore inThe Good Place, albeit with the character’s back to the camera.
