The upcoming Jurassic Park movie is made much more exciting by confirmation that it will revive some old content cut from the first movie.
While having that humor return to the franchise would be a welcome homage for audiences, it would also take away the chance for those same audiences to fall in love with Dr. Loomis and see what his mindset brings to the story. Dr. Loomis seems to be both curious and knowledgeable, so what discoveries he makes and his reaction to them should be unique to his personality.
