Infinity Nikkireleased on December 5th, 2024, and it’s already releasing its first major patch with version 1.1, Shooting Star Season. This new patch includes new events, new activities, and most exciting new four and five-star banners to grab the beautiful new outfits. Along with the announcement, some major details about what to expect from the update were released.
As with most update announcements, it’s sure that not everything to come in the new patch was revealed, but what Infold has shown so far is exciting.There won’t be any new updates to the main story itself, but the announcement mentioned a side story that will explore some other aspect of the Wishfield through the Wish Festival.

Through the announcement on the officialInfinity NikkiX account, developer Infold has shared quite a bit about the new things that the studio has been working on sinceInfinity Nikki’s release. Tons of new outfits, a few new minigames and activities, and even check-in events will be included in this update, which arrives on December 30th, 2024.

Infinity Nikki’s ability outfits make the game a lot of fun, and if the original trailer is right, there may be even more that haven’t come out yet.
Besides the December 30th release date,no official dates have been released for any of the new activities in 1.1,but a few other details have been clarified. The “Let’s Touch Shooting Stars!” minigame seems to host challenges similar to the Whimstar realms that already exist in the game, offering new challenges and rewards. Additionally, there are new World and Random Quests to be released.
There are no confirmed details about what these quests will entail, but it’s likely that they’ll all fall under the soaring, astrological theme that categorizes the update. In the announcement,they fall under the title “Adventure Under the Stars,” which backs up this assumption. Hopefully, players get to engage a bit more deeply with the starry theme, perhaps through a telescope or map of the stars.

Four Events Are Coming
Per the X announcement, it appears that there will be four new events during the 1.1 update period. These will likely last less than a week or so each,like with Companion’s Day, andwill provide smaller rewards like Diamonds, Upgrade Packs for the Camera, and so forth. Often, Check-In Events will run a bit longer than they have rewards, allowing for a bit of a grace period for players who might miss a day or two.
10 Things To Do In Infinity Nikki After Catching Up To The Main Story
There’s a ton to do in Wishfield, so there’s no reason to be bored after you beat Infinity Nikki’s main story questline.
The first of the four events is a Check-In Event, called “Starwish Gifts.” Check-In events areNikkifranchise classics, and they often reward things likerare materials or outfit pieces each daythe player checks in over a specific period of time. This event looks like it will award materials rather than an outfit. The second event is a fishing event, titled “Lucky Fishing Day.” Based on the image paired with the announcement, this event will focus on the Pink Ribbon Eel, whichcan be turned in for Diamonds if players catch one.
The third is another Check-In Event titled “Lucky Gifts.” The event was included in the “Upcoming Content” section, so it’s likely to come further out from 1.1’s December release, but is still something to look forward to in the coming weeks.As a Check-In Event, players can collect materials and other rewards by checking in each day.

The fourth and final event that was announced is the title event of the season, the Wish Festival. This event begins right with the release of the patch and includes the aforementioned activities and quests, as well as some unique gameplay challenges and games. Ability & Banner Outfits Added
There are two new ability outfits in Shooting Star Season, and each exemplifies the starry and wish-focused season perfectly.The first is a Gliding outfit titled “Wings of Wishes.“It’s a beautiful dress accented with a paper crane motif throughout, representing the wishes of the people of Florawish and beyond in celebration of the Wish Festival.
Nikkiveterans will recognize something included as a Resonance Reward on the Celestial wishes banner: a decorative item called “Uncaged Wishes.” Decorative items can be placed in the world for photography purposes.
The second outfit, “Whimsical Reverie,” is a gauzy blue Ability Outfitwith the Whimsicality Ability. While using the “Praying Hands” pose in the camera, shooting stars will streak across the sky behind the player. Both of these outfits will be obtainable through the limited-time resonance banner, Celestial Wishes.
Besides the new Ability Outfits,there are a few new three-and-four-star outfitscoming to the Celestial Wishes banner as well. These outfits all have an elegant and charming flair to them. They include the four-star “Gleaming Dance,” three-star “Star of the Gala,” and three-star “Snowy Encounter.”

Your Ability Outfits in Infinity Nikki are your constant companions, and upgrading them allows you to traverse, fight, and collect more efficiently.
Finally,the Interlude Chapter “Call of Beginnings” will feature a mystery 5-star outfitto be unlocked in the Heart of Infinity. This is whereWishful Aurosa was unlockedin the first section of the game, so there’s a possibility that there will be a new chance to find another Miracle Outfit. Not much was revealed about what exactly this interlude chapter entails, but the image paired with the heading in the announcement featured the same chained woman from the game’s prologue, so Nikki might end up hearing from her again.
Shooting Star Season Release Date & Platforms
This Update Is Coming Soon
The official release date forInfinity Nikkiversion 1.1 “Shooting Star Season” is December 29th, 12:49:59 (UTC-7), or 07:49:59 EST.It will run until the same time on January 23rd, so it’s a pretty quick event. It’s unlikely that everything in the announcement will occur during this three-week period, so don’t panic too much that you won’t get everything done.
