Invincible’s Robert Kirkman shares an update on the live-action movie. Kirkman is the writer and creator of the original comic series, which first introduced readers to the world of Mark Grayson (aka Invincible), his dad Nolan (aka Omni-Man), and the intergalactic tales between Earth-dwellers and the Viltrumites. Since the 144-issue comic series concluded in 2018, Prime Video has developed an adult animated version. The first season was released in 2021 while season 3 just wrapped up last week.Invincible’s voice castincludes Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, and Sandra Oh.
Speaking withComicbook.com, Kirkman provided an update on theInvinciblelive-action movie. The comic book creator seemed optimistic about the film,noting he “would be shocked if it doesn’t happen one day.“He did say, however, “that the television show makes it vastly easier and vastly more difficult in various different aspects of the development of the movie.” He could not provide much more of a specific update than that.
