There, Ahsoka was able to confront Anakin about who/what he ultimately became, and that moment of acceptance released her from the grief and guilt she’d held onto.
Thrillingly, this also meant that Ahsoka and Anakin were shown together in live-action for the very first time and Clone Wars-era live-action Anakin Skywalker had his on-screen debut. The final episode of season 1 also revealed that Anakin Skywalker is on Peridea as a Force ghost, watching over Ahsoka,which hopefully means Anakin will return again in the upcomingAhsokaseason 2. Based on Christensen’s comments, it seems clear he would be happy to return, which makes it seem more likely than not that he will make another appearance.
