Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Sevenincludes over 30 classes. The remake uses the same systems as the 1993 original. This includes a generational timeline that sees characters retire, age, and die as years pass. This results in many different party members coming in and out as you progress. This makes it important to replace departing characters and hire new ones. You also shouldn’t get attached to anyone’s name, as they could perish or call it quits.

If you expend all eight candidates, the original rep will return, and the cycle will continue. So, if you are dead set on getting a specific named party member, you may need to purposely kill the others.

You Begin With Some Recruited Professions
When beginningRomancing SaGa 2, players will play as Leon for a short tutorial section. However, the real protagonist is Gerard, who serves as thefirst Emperor. If you successfully make it through the first generation, the timeline will jump 50 years, and you will have a brand-new Emperor of either gender and various inherited combat prophecies. But,if an Emperor dies, you’re able to pick a character to take over the class, bringing in their existing proficiencies.

Throughout your quest inRomancing SaGa 2, you will meet new characters representing a potential class. Most will join as long as you complete their associated quest, includingupgrading Avalon City and Castle. Because the game can be rather non-linear, it is up to you to decide when you are ready to take on these challenges.
