Ghosts’Woodstone Mansion is an important aspect of the supernatural series that has been around for a long time. Similarly, Sass died sometime in the 1500s. Since European settlers had not yet visited the land or interfered with the Lenape Tribe’s possession of it, the mansion would not exist for several more centuries.

Furthermore,Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) is the earliest known ghost to inhabit the mansion,having lived in it since childhood. Since she was born in 1850, it’s likely that her parents built it so that they would have a place to live with their new baby and thus the mansion was probably completed in 1849, although it is possible it was built earlier in the decade. However, the house is not likely to have been built much earlier than that, as several ghosts who died of cholera lived in a pest house on the same land in the earlier part of the 19th century.

However, even ifHetty’s yet-unrevealed powers inGhostsinclude time travel, it still wouldn’t explain how she built a mansion that was given to her by her father in the 1870s upon her marriage to Elijah (Matt Walsh), and which she lived in as a child in the 1850s. The mansion had to be built sometime before her birth. However, it’s obvious that it was built by her family since it bears her family name and her father gifted it to her.
This idea would be consistent with the theory that her father built the mansion when his wife was pregnant with Hetty.
