Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights from Thursday, September 5 through Sunday, June 15, 2025.
With such haunted houses as “The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy,” “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” “A Quiet Place,” “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface,” “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” and “Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America,” tapping into everyone’s darkest fears, these experiences will also send guests spiraling for a reprise with a selection of tempting treats and drinks.Guests must be 21+ and have a valid photo ID to purchase alcoholic beverages.

Offering eight all-new terrifying haunted houses,a reimagined Universal Studios Terror Tram ride, multiple scare zones and live entertainment, Halloween Horror Nights is Southern California’s scariest Halloween event. Inspired by the biggest names in horror, there is something for everyone. This year’s event menu will include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items for those with every type of appetite.

The Menu Is Meticulously Planned
Halloween Horror Nights creative director John Murdy wasn’t just involved in the rides themselves, but also the food and drink that goes along with them. The entire menu is themed, adding to the immersive experience. As he explains:
There’s a whole food and beverage program that’s unique to our nights. Some of it’s tied into the properties we’re doing. There’s a Texas Chainsaw Massacre barbecue downstairs, fully themed out. It sounds bizarre, but it was very popular last time we did it. And for The Weeknd, we have a full blown bar that we’re doing.
Our chef creates all of these custom items that are just sold during our nights. For The Weeknd, there’s a lot of things that involve a heart, so he made a giant gummy heart. I mean, it’s like really big. And all kinds of different drinks and desserts and main courses. And there is a food in the plaza as well. There’s special taco creations along with all the different drinks that they offer. It’s a full program.
