Giving Chasca the best build inGenshin Impactcan transform her into one of the deadliest multi-element DPS units in the game. Chasca is a new 5-star character added with Version 5.2, alongside Ororon. In combat, she wields a bow and has an Anemo Vision, though her main focus is not dealing Anemo DMG itself.Chasca’s gameplay kit allows her to deal multiple types of damage based on the elements of her team members. If you runFurina’s build inGenshin Impactalong with Chasca, there is a chance she will deal Hydro DMG, too, for example.
Chasca excels by using her Elemental Skill to enter the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, which puts her on a flying mount. While flying,Chasca can use Normal and Charged Attacks to fire shells that can have their elements converted and, in doing so, force several types of Elemental Reactions based on her team comp. This interactivity with different elements is restricted to Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, and Electro. Her complex kit can be difficult to understand, but after you farmChasca’s materials inGenshin Impactand Ascend her, you can start optimizing her build, where you will better understand how she plays.

Best Weapons For Chasca (Best Bows)
Look For Bows With Great Offensive Stats
To start working on Chasca’s build, you will first need to find her a suitable weapon. The best 5-star bow for Chasca is Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, her signature weapon. This bow offers a medium base ATK stat (608 at level 90), but an incredible CRIT DMG sub-stat (66% at level 90). Furthermore, its skill sees that for 12 seconds after a Swirl Reaction is triggered, the user’s ATK is boosted by 24%.
The table below lists the best build for Chasca inGenshin Impact, including suggested weapons, ideal stats, recommended Artifacts, and more:

Skill Priority
Additionally, when 1/2 or more characters in the party are of other elements than the character equipping Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, the DMG dealt by the user’s Charged Attacks is increased by 20%/48% and the Elemental Burst DMG dealt is boosted by 10%/24%. These extra skills bonuses play right into Chasca’s build as an Anemo character who is at her best when operating in a team comp with characters of varied elements. If you don’t have access to Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, there are a few 5-star alternatives forChasca inGenshin Impact.
Aqua Simulacra, Yelan’s signature 5-star weapon, is the second-best 5-star bow for Chasca. It offers some of the best offensive advantages in the game. Even if there is a dispensable HP bonus and can work well with off-field sub-DPS units, all of its offensive properties can give Chasca the upper hand in combat. Alternatively, you can also use Lyney’s signature 5-star bow, The First Great Magic, which offers the same base ATK and CRIT DMG sub-stat as Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage and will likely trigger a boost to her Movement Speed, but no extra offensive buffs inGenshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks: Mavuika Is Making Me Hopeful For The Game’s Future, Four Years Later
There have been new leaks about Mavuika’s gameplay kit in Genshin Impact 5.3, and they sound extremely promising, even if four years late.
You can also use the 5-star Skyward Harp from the standard loot pool, which offers good offensive advantages, such as a 22% CRIT Rate sub-stat, a 20% CRIT DMG buff, and a chance to deal extra AoE damage to opponents. If you do not have access to any of these 5-star bows, there are a few 4-star weapons that could work well with Chasca. The first of them is Range Gauge. This 4-star bow inGenshin Impactoffers a lower base ATK stat (565 at level 90) and a decent ATK sub-stat (27.6% at level 90).

Range Gauge’s skill sees that when the user is healed or provides healing, they gain Unity’s Symbol for 30 seconds, up to three stacks. When the user activates their Skill or Burst, all Symbols are consumed, providing the Struggle effect. For every consumed Symbol, they gain 3% ATK and 7% All Elemental DMG Bonus, an effect that can be triggered once every 15 seconds. Symbols can be acquired even if Chasca is off the field.
This bow’s only downside is the necessity of seeing Chasca healed, but for aggressive team comps that dispense shielders, it could work well.

Another good 4-star alternative for Chasca is Scion of the Blazing Sun. The bow obtainable from theBattle Pass inGenshin Impactprovides a lower base ATK stat (565 at level 90) and a decent CRIT Rate sub-stat (18.4% at level 90).It also sees that when Charged Attacks hit enemies, they get hit an extra time and are marked by Heartsearer for 10 seconds– this Heartsearer effect makes the targets take 28% extra DMG from Charged Attacks.
I’m Excited My Favorite Genshin Impact Character May Finally Get A Skin I’ll Use
There are rumors of a new skin for one of my favorite Genshin Impact characters and I couldn’t be more excited about possibly changing their outfit.
If you have none of the mentioned weapons, look for bows that provide great offensive advantages, like ATK, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG bonuses. Bows that trigger extra instances of damage and offensive buffs based on how Chasca plays are all worthy of being equipped by her, though these are the absolute best for her role as a main DPS in team comps.

Best Artifacts & Stats For Chasca
Chasca Is A Main DPS With Mostly Traditional Stat Requirements
In addition to the weapon, you will need to equip Chasca with a proper set of Artifacts. Currently, theObsidian Codex Artifact set inGenshin Impactis the best choice for Chasca. With two pieces, the user gets a 15% DMG bonus when they are in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state and are on the field – which is fitting for Chasca as a main DPS.With four pieces, the user’s CRIT Rate can be boosted by 40% for six seconds when they consume a Nightsoul point while on the field. This effect can be triggered once every second.
Genshin Impact 5.2’s Leaked NPC May Forever Change The Natlan Story
An important historical figure from Natlan may make a reappearance in Genshin Impact 5.2, according to a leaked character model for the patch.
Alternatively, you can useGenshin Impact’s Marechaussee Hunter Artifact seton Chasca, but only if Furina is in her team comp. Normal and Charged Attack DMG is boosted by 15% with two pieces and, with four pieces, when the user’s HP increases or decreases, their CRIT Rate is boosted by 12% for five seconds, up to three stacks. This set is good for Chasca when she is forced to lose HP via Furina’s abilities, but overall, Obsidian Codex provides the most consistent and easily achievable offensive bonuses.

When farming Artifacts, you should look for stats that improve Chasca’s damage output. This includes a healthy balance of CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG,though you may stop farming CRIT Rate at 60% since she’ll get an extra 40% with Obsidian Codex, thus allowing you to invest more in CRIT DMG. Farming for ATK is also recommended. If you take Energy Recharge up to 160%, you can use her Burst at the end of most of her rotations, while 110% should allow you to use her Burst every two rotations. Elemental Mastery is also a worthwhile sub-stat to increase.
When farming the Goblet Artifact piece for Chasca inGenshin Impact, do not use one with an Anemo DMG Bonus% stat. Instead, opt for extra ATK since Chasca should be dealing all sorts of Elemental DMG and not just Anemo DMG thanks to her kit.

Best Team Comps For Chasca
You Have Several Options For Allies
In terms of team comps, you can get very creative since Chasca works marvelously with several characters. With varied types of characters on your team, you get a better chance of seeing shells undergo elemental conversion, making her shots of different elements. In turn, you’ll see Chasca triggering different types of Reactions. The best team comps for Chasca revolve around boosting her damage output, so buffers like Furina andBennett inGenshin Impactwork very well, and sub-DPS units can further boost the frequency of her reactions.
The table below lists a few team comp suggestions for Chasca:
F2P Team Comp
While these are recommended team comps for Chasca, you may mix and match according to your preferences and character availability. The important thing to take into consideration when building a team around Chasca is that her shells only interact with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro, so the majority of your team comp needs to be of these elements. Opting for supports that buff rather than more sub-DPS units makes sense considering how strong Chasca can be while on the field.
Skill (Talent) Priority For Chasca
Start Off By Leveling Chasca’s Skill
While farming Chasca’s materials, you may see yourself needing to prioritize some Talents over others. The most important Talent in Chasca’s kit is her Elemental Skill, so level that one first. Following that, you should invest your resources in her Elemental Burst. Lastly, upgrade her Normal Attacks – as much as these are what she uses in her Nightsoul’s Blessing state, it’s her Skill that determines the majority of the damage from her regular rotation.
Genshin Impact 5.2’s New Xbox Glider Can Be Obtained By Players On Other Platforms, But There’s A Huge Limitation Imposed On Them
Version 5.2 will introduce a new promotional Xbox glider for Genshin Impact, celebrating the game’s release on Microsoft’s line of consoles.
Chasca’s build is a very fairly one to round out, especially due to the lower requirements she has in several of her stats– her CRIT Rate can be lower than most DPS units because that is made up for by her Artifacts and weapon, while she can dispense the search for an Anemo DMG Bonus Goblet because ATK is more useful. Her team comps can become a bit confusing due to the sheer quantity of options you have at your disposal, but overall, with the proper allies, Chasca can become one of the best DPS units inGenshin Impact.
