Genshin Impact 5.0 - Release Date, New Characters, Banners, Natlan Mechanics, Story Updates
The long-awaited Version 5.0 livestream for Genshin Impact occurred, revealing all the details about the update, the arrival of Natlan, and more.
Try to explore the Natlan map for landmarks that make it easier to narrow down where Local Legends may be found. As you’re able to also see in the above video by YouTube creatorKyoStinV, each boss introduced in this new region can be found in these locations:

Atlatl’s Blessing
Tepeacac Rise
Travel to the Waypoint in this location, then go to the closest waterfall you may see. Inside the waterfall, you can enter a small cave where this Local Legend can be found.
Balachko
Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits
Head to the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits Domain, then enter a nearby cave. Defeat several enemies and collect two keys needed to open a large gate in this area. The Local Legend is just beyond the gate once it’s opened.
Chimalli’s Shade
Ancestral Temple
Teleport to the Ancestral Temple Waypoint and start heading backward from where you were transported. Jump off the ledge and fly left to reach the Temple itself, then interact with a Nightsoul Totem to meet the Local Legend.
Cihuacoatl of Chimeric Bone
Coatepec Mountain
Travel to the Statue of Seven in this location, then get one of theSaurian forms inGenshin Impactfrom right behind the teleportation point. Use the ability from this form to get around the Mountain, where the Legend can be found south of the Scions of the Canopy.
Cocijo
Ameyalco Waters
Go to the south of the Toyac Springs Statue of Seven, where you’re able to find a circular arena. Break all the Electro Crystals here to summon the Local Legend.
Some Local Legend fights, like Atlatl’s Blessing, force you to use specific characters during the battle. Thisstrange boss mechanic inGenshin Impactcan’t be avoided, so verify you are using the right characters before challenging certain opponents.

He Never Dies
Go past the Ancestral Temple and continue heading east until you reach a small pond on top of the cliffs. The Legend should be right around the body of water.
Ichcahuipilli’s Aegis
Huiztli Hill
Travel toward the northwest corner of the Natlan map, to the small village near Huiztli Hill. You need to find three keys here to expose a Nightsoul Totem, which can transport you to the Local Legend.
Polychrome Tri-Stars
Head north and near the western border of Natlan until you reach a plateau near theGoldflame Qucusaur Tyrant inGenshin Impact. This Legend is three Fatui enemies called the Pyroslinger, Cyrogunner, and Electrohammer Vanguard scattered around this location.
Sappho Amidst The Waves
Teleport to the Blazing Ruins Domain, then head south from the Tepeacac Rise until you see a woman playing an instrument. This is the Legend, who won’t attack you unless you attack it.
Tlatzacuilotl
Sulfurous Veins
Head to the bottom of the valley within the Sulfurous Veins, then solve the puzzle within this location. This can be done by attacking a crystal cube with a Saurian ability to reveal a Nightsoul Totem that transports you to the Legend.
Not every Local Legend can be found using a Nightsoul Totem that teleports you to a boss arena. However, like other bosses in the open world, the ones who do roam the Natlan region are easy to spot as you explore the map. These enemies are still difficult to beat though, so you need to approach them only when you have the right strategies.

How To Beat Every Natlan Local Legend
Adopt Some Quick Tricks To Make Each Fight Easier
Every Local Legend you encounter may have one unique weakness you can exploit to make its fight easier. Certain characters could wield elements that target the vulnerability of a Local Legend, making them a perfect person to have on your team. When you think about fighting a Local Legend, try to consider these traits before challenging one:
N/A
You are forced to play asAether inGenshin Impactor Lumine in this boss fight, where you have to learn a unique parry or deflect mechanic. Master this technique for an easy victory.
Balachko turns invisible during this fight, so try to use a team that either deals high DPS when the boss can be seen or one that can freeze it to prevent it from disappearing.

Cryo
Knock back ice balls created by the boss to freeze it. You can also hide behind ice pillars in the Legend’s arena to avoid certain attacks.
Pyro, Cryo, Electro
Local Legends inside Domains, like this one, cannot be fought in co-op multiplayer. So, avoid lethal hits that could wipe your team out much faster.
Pyro
Use Pyro moves to break the continuous Electro shield of this Legend. Stand on a boulder to get above the boss, then use ranged attacks to attack it from above where it can’t hit you.
Every Genshin Impact Element, Ranked Worst To Best
Genshin Impact’s seven elements are the core pillars of the game, and while each is strong in its own right, there is a ranking they fall under.
Pyro, Electro
Use Pyro and Electro attacks to build Overload to interrupt He Never Dies while the boss charges its strongest attack.
Stack curses during the fight to amplify any damage you deal against the Legend.

Polychrome Five-Stars
Use different elements to destroy the shields of the Cyrogunner, Pyroslinger, and Electrohammer Vanguard bosses.
Destroy the AoE Cyro bursts from this boss with Pyro attacks. Do not fight this boss while it rains, as your fire will be put out before you can use it in the open world.

Watch for the glint in this boss' weapons to time your dodges correctly and avoid taking damage from its attacks.
Defeating any of these bosses will reward you with an achievement worth five Primogems and a treasure chest with valuable items. Discovering the locations of all the Local Legends in the Natlan region will help you gather resources inGenshin Impactneeded to make new characters from the 5.0 update stronger.
