Pre-farming Mavuika’s materials inGenshin Impactis a possibility thanks to some Version 5.3 leaks that have already detailed the items that the playable version of the Pyro Archon will use to fully Ascend and increase her Talents’ levels.Confirmed by developer HoYoverse via drip marketing, Mavuika will become a playable character in Version 5.3 alongside several other units that will make their debut in the patch. Among confirmations and leaks, there are fournew characters listed forGenshin Impact5.3. The leaks about the character and other contents have started to emerge because of the Version 5.3 beta tests.
So far, leaks have detailed the gameplay kits of nearly all the new playable units, highlighting their possible roles in team comps. Furthermore, the leaked information has shown some of the events that will be playable during the patch.Because Version 5.3 is expected to bring an end to the main story arc in Natlan, the missions should end with a big boss encounter, which has already leaked– and theleaked weekly boss inGenshin Impact5.3should pose a huge challenge to players. Now, players can already start pre-farming Mavuika’s materials, too, though they are based on leaks.

Most Of Mavuika’s Materials In Genshin Impact 5.3
Players Should Be Wary Of Pre-Farming Because Changes Can Occur During Tests
Because the materials used by Mavuika are all listed from leaks, they should be taken with a huge grain of salt –these materials are still highly subject to change as the beta tests occur and, as such, players who pre-farm may see a portion of their efforts rendered uselessbecause a material they gathered is no longer used when Mavuika is officially released. Nevertheless, preemptively farming materials for Mavuika is a good idea to ensure the character can be fully Ascended as soon as she is obtained from thebanners inGenshin Impact5.3.
Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks Show Building Characters Is Getting Much Easier
A series of quality-of-life updates and system optimizations have been leaked for Genshin Impact 5.3, hinting at an easier time building characters.
With this in mind, the complete list of Mavuika materials has been posted onHoney Hunter World. The majority of the items listed by the database is already available in the game, meaning they can be farmed before the character is released. As such, taking Mavuika to level 90 as soon as she is obtained is very much a possibility, unless HoYoverse adds a new type of material to the game for her to use. The leak only lists one material that isn’t available in the game and related to the aforementioned weekly boss inGenshin Impact5.3.

So far, the leaked weekly boss material used to upgrade Mavuika’s Talents has not had its name leaked – it is worth remembering that weekly bosses can drop three different types of Talent materials, and Mavuika will allegedly only use the horn-shaped one listed onHoney Hunter World.
How & Where To Pre-Farm Mavuika’s Ascension Materials For Genshin Impact 5.3
All The Pyro Archon’s Leaked Ascension Materials Are Already Available
As a confirmed Pyro character, players can comfortably and safely farm the first set of Ascension materials for Mavuika: the Agnidus Agate stones. Agnidus Agate Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones can be farmed from a variety of bosses, mostly those aligned with Pyro in some form. To obtain these, players can defeat world bosses like the Legatus Golem, Pyro Hypostasis, Tenebrous Papilla, Pyro Regisvine, and the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant. Weekly bosses like Lupus Boreas, Azhdaha, La Signora, and theKnave inGenshin Impactalso drop the Agnidus Agate Ascension materials for Mavuika.
Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks: Pyro Traveler’s Kit Shows Xiangling’s Reign As A Pyro Sub-DPS May Have Come To An End After Four Years
The Pyro Traveler could become the best new Pyro sub-DPS in Genshin Impact, based on the leaks regarding their gameplay kit in Version 5.3.
The next set of materials leaked for Mavuika’s Ascension are the Natlan whistles.Sentry’s Wooden Whistle, Warrior’s Metal Whistle, and Saurian-Crowned Warrior’s Golden Whistle are items that have been available since the release of Version 5.0 and are dropped from the Sauroform Tribal Warriors spread across the Nation of Pyro. These are not guaranteed drops, but using the interactive map inHoYoLABcan help players visualize the location of all the Sauroform Tribal Warriors and follow farming routes to gather enough resources adequately. These items are also allegedly used for Mavuika’s Talents, so players should farm a surplus.

Some Sentry’s Wooden Whistles and Warrior’s Metal Whistles can also be purchased from Stardust Exchange in Paimon’s shop inGenshin Impact.
Honey Hunter World also states that Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core is the world boss material used by Mavuika during her Ascension process. This material is obtained exclusively by defeating the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device boss, located underground, east of the People of the Springs tribe– this boss can also be easily found using the interactive map. Unfortunately, there is no way of optimizing the farming of Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core and Mavuika’s Ascension stones since the boss only drops Vajrada Amethyst (Electro) stones inGenshin Impact.

For reference, some bosses drop the exact boss material and Ascension stones used by a character, which cuts down the farming time since players only have to beat one world boss rather than multiples.
The final Ascension material leaked for Mavuika is Withering Purpurbloom. This is a Local Specialty from Natlan that spawns mostly in Ochkanatlan. As is the case with most Local Specialties, the number of them on the map is lower than what is required for a full Ascension, and they take 48 hours to respawn. As such, the earlier players start farmingWithering Purpurbloom inGenshin Impact, the quicker they will finish the task and, consequently, will not have to wait on Ascending Mavuika because of the long respawn times.

Withering Purpurblooms are part ofChasca’s Ascension materials inGenshin Impact.
In addition to the Ascension materials, the leak also highlights the Talent materials used by Mavuika. Aside from the Natlan whistles, which are consumed in high numbers when leveling up her abilities, Mavuika’s leaked Talent materials also include the Contention Talent books.Teachings of Contention, Guide to Contention, and Philosophies of Contention can be farmed from the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Talent books can take a long time to farm, so pre-farming these for Mavuika is a good idea.
The leaked list also includes Crown of Insight among the materials for Mavuika’s Talents. Of course,as is the case with most characters in the game, it is expected she will only consume three copies of Crown of Insight– one to max out each of her upgradable Talents. The last material is the one that drops from the leaked weekly boss inGenshin Impact5.3, but for now, there are no details about it. Furthermore, it is impossible to farm the item, and players will have to wait for the arrival of Version 5.3 to farm it.
Genshin Impact 5.3 Character Banner Leaks Show Concerning Absence
An ongoing absence from Genshin Impact banners has been noticed once again in Version 5.3 leaks, which may condemn an entire element to its doom.
The leaks should be considered with some caution, and it is always wise to keep in mind that pre-farming can be risky, but well worth the risk. Players shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to pull for Mavuika, as Version 5.3 is expected to arrive on June 18, 2025. The leaks for the patch promise big updates to the game and an epic conclusion to the Natlan story arc, and having Mavuika in the party could be a great way to see that done inGenshin Impact, as long as she is fully Ascended.
