Summary
A team comp feature may finally get a much-needed change inGenshin Impact5.0, offering players a better time when organizing their parties. Version 5.0 of the action RPG by developer HoYoverse is approaching and, with it, a whole new set of content is bound to arrive. The most meaningful part is the region of Natlan, which will finally be explorable. The arrival of Natlan also brings forth new main Archon quests set in the Nation of Pyro, as well as exclusive mechanics in the area. Of course, the newNatlan characters inGenshin Impactare also very important.
Even though the new additions tend to get the most attention in big patches like these, the developer is constantly working on system optimizations, granting players a better quality of life throughout the gameplay experience. There have been rumors, for instance, of a possibleArtifact-crafting system inGenshin Impact5.0, which will be applied to all players, regardless of whether they have reached the requirements to enter Natlan or not. These system optimizations are an important part of every update and it seems like more is in store for Version 5.0, as seen in a recent leak about the patch.

Party Setups In Genshin Impact 5.0 Can Finally Be Reordered
Players Are Rumored To Be Able To Drag & Order Their Preset Team Comps
According to leaked footage by Firefly HoYoLeak, which was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit, players will be able to reorder their party presets starting in Version 5.0. The leak showcases the player dragging their first team comp and then setting it back in the first position. However, it seems it will be possible to drag and insert it into any of the possible team comp preset positions at the player’s preference. While the change is minimal, it will allow for a lot more organization.
This is especially true when considering the expanding roster of characters inGenshin Impact.

Rearrangable Party Presets Allow For More Organization In Genshin Impact Team Comps
Currently, Players Have To Manually Change Every Member Of The Team Comp
This change is fantastic news, especially for older players with many types of team comps. At the moment, for a player to change the order of a team comp preset, they need to manually swap all characters. For instance, if their first party is composed of Lisa, Xiangling, Fischl, and Barbara and they want to swap this party to number seven on the list to open space for a more updated team, they need to manually swap the aforementioned characters for the new ones and then insert these units in the seventh party on the list inGenshin Impact.
If the leak is true, the new feature will allow players to reduce their efforts, building their new team in the seventh position on the list and then dragging it up to the first position. This change will allow players to structure their team comps in order of elements or power, for instance, making it much easier to swap parties based on the activity they will challenge without having to scroll and look where the team comp they want was left at – they will already know that their main team is in the first slot, for example.
These small quality-of-life updates in the game are extremely important and make the player experience smoother, quicker, and less troublesome, which is much appreciated considering the amount of effort players already need to put into grinding. The leak should be considered with caution, but, if it is true, it may be showcased during theGenshin Impact5.0 livestreamlater this week.
