Stranger Things Vecna vs Legend of Vox Machina Whispered One

7Percy

Human Gunslinger

Percy is probably the least powerful member of the Vox Machina team, but he is not the least important, if any one character can be said to be the least important. It is more the case thateach character in Vox Machina is equally importantin some way, with each individual’s strengths and weaknesses becoming revealed gradually. This beautifully reflects the nature ofD&Das a concept and as a franchise - it is, ultimately, about teamwork and having fun with friends.

Despite that,Critical Role, andD&Din general, is based on a series of intricate fights between characters with different abilities, leading to detailed and complex playoffs between magic, powerful weapons, and brute strength. Therefore, ranking the members of Vox Machina by power is possibleand worthwhile. However, it leaves Percy lagging behind a little, seeing as his innate humanity deprives him of some of the innate abilities of his team, composed of various fantasy races.

A sharpshooter who rarely misses, Percy’s strength is in his mastery of vital technology…

Percy is incredibly intelligent as the father of firearms in Exandria, fighting with his Pepperbox to excellent effect throughout the show. A sharpshooter who rarely misses, Percy’s strength is in his mastery of vital technology and his developing principles.Percy was initially driven by revengefor the murder of his family, creating enmity with Ripley. By the end of season 3,Percy’s real power inThe Legend of Vox Machinalay in his moral redemption. Sparing Ripley’s life proved that he had overcome his demons, making his shock survival near the end of season 3 all the more dramatic.

6Scanlan Shortholt

Gnome Bard

Scanlan may be rude and sleazy, but he is lovable and his Scanlan Hands technique has got the team out of trouble on numerous occasions.Scanlan has a lot of love for this teamand is incredibly motivated by doing the right thing, despite erring sometimes. This may be one of the most deciding factors in his power, ultimately. Despite seeking a relationship with his estranged daughter, Scanlan repeatedly commits to saving the world. Scanlan is small in stature but strong of heart.

The Legend of Vox Machinais based on the first campaign of the web seriesCritical Role.

Scanlan always brings a level of sexual quip, which brings huge entertainment value toThe Legend of Vox Machina, but unfortunately for him, doesn’t make him stronger.Scanlan doesn’t have the physical strengths of teammates like Grog, so he won’t be punching through walls any time soon. Scanlan’s magical abilities can, however, provide levitation support that frequently removes the team from sticky situations.

Despite seeking a relationship with his estranged daughter, Scanlan repeatedly commits to saving the world.

Scanlan’s magic door key allows instant access to his luxury bachelor’s pad, which could be incredibly practical in times of need.Scanlan’s portal provides the team with a potential safe havenin danger, which could be key in future seasons. Although, the key only works in the presence of a door, so the portal opener certainly has limitations.

5Grog

Goliath Barbarian

Grog the Goliath is probably the funniest member of the team, but can’t be ranked as the highest in power due to his relative lack of magic, in comparison to the other team members. Grog does, however, have access to magic gauntlets that power him up to a physical level beyond many of his opponents in the show, besides dragons, of course.Grog’s Titanstone Knuckles are a huge indicator of his power, as they could enable him to win important fights in the future.

Grog’s simplistic nature has been the subject of much of the humor ofThe Legend of Vox Machinaall the way from season 1 to season 3.

Although Grog’s strength and power are extremely mighty, they may never achieve the accomplishments of some of the other members of Vox Machina due to his relatively low IQ. Grog’s simplistic nature has been the subject of much of the humor ofThe Legend of Vox Machinaall the way from season 1 to season 3. While utterly hilarious, it means he is normally unable to formulate helpful plans.

However, there was one instance where this did not apply. Grog is more of a punch-first, ask-questions-later type of character. However,Grog did devise a plan in season 3 that helped him and Scanlanfind their dragon target, although it didn’t necessarily pan out ideally. Grog also shook himself awake after stating the plan, claiming he had blacked out for a second, suggesting his normal incapacity for such strenuous mental effort. Although, the very distant possibility of an inner genius within Grog may exist.

4Vex

Half-Elf Ranger

Vex’ahlia can fly on her magic broomstick, which immediately sets her apart, given that Vox Machina fights dragons. However, Vex’ahlia’s powers extend beyond that.Vex is a dab hand with a bow and arrow, demonstrating her ability to shoot and hit a target at long range time and time again. Vex’s skill with a bow and arrow, combined with her ability to fly, made her an important ally in the fight against Thordak.

Importantly, Vex has an armored pet bear called Trinket, who has proven just as useful as he is adorable. Giving her bear his name, Vex stores her bear in her trinket - this magical amulet allows for safe and portable storage, including that of living beings.Grog, as well as Trinket, has traveled in Vex’s necklace, proving Vex’s usefulness on multiple levels.Vex’s Ripley fight in season 3confirmed that Vex’ahlia will continue to be a valuable asset going into season 4 in multiple ways.

The first campaign (Vox Machina) of the actual play web seriesCritical Rolecan be streamed for free on YouTube.

Vex is quick-witted and calm under pressure, ensuring that her team can rely on her in dark hours. A level-headed presence who often ties the team together, her slow-burn romance with Percy was also a huge factor inThe Legend of Vox Machina’soutstanding success. Not only this, but it motivated her to fight for the safety of Percy and the wider team, leading her to demonstrate a ferocious strength. Vex’s headaches also signal approaching danger - this double-edged sword provides a dragon radar but a frustrating weakness at the same time.

3Vax

Half-Elf Rogue

Vax is definitely one of the most powerful members of Vox Machina by the end of season 3, and this may have always been the case.Vax provides Vox Machina with a powerful male Elfto rival Keyleth’s druidic powers. Vax’ildan is Vex’s twin brother and also nursed a growing affection for Keyleth during the show, which was satisfyingly developed in season 3. Vax’s well-scripted character growth reflected the growth of his power, setting a solid blueprint fora successfully writtenD&DTV show.

Vax saw some excellent character development between seasons 1 and 3 and definitely came to understand the importance of family, which made him more committed to the cause. Vax’s fear of intimacy was explored on surprisingly sensitive and deep levels, preventing him from getting closer to Keyleth. Thistroubled but blossoming love was often used to portray the depth of Vax’s power and danger- he is linked to the powerful Raven Queen, who could empower him and harm him in equal measure. Vax’s fear of the Raven Queen and her hold on him drove him to hold loved ones at arm’s length.

The Legend Of Vox Machina Season 3 Just Set Up The Better Version Of Stranger Things' Villain For Season 4

The Legend of Vox Machina just set up the better version of Stranger Things' season 4 villain in its season 3 finale, highlighting his true power.

Vax uses important vestiges throughoutThe Legend of Vox Machina, leveling him up beyond his natural ability. His ability to master the Deathwalker’s Ward is a critical addition to his natural speed, strength, and skill with knives. Without having to retrieve them, Vax’s magical knives are a major asset to his fatal capacity.Vax is a consummate fighter in single combatand can hold his own in fights using ninja-esque moves from a range of martial arts.

2Pike Trickfoot

Gnome Cleric

Pike is one of the characters that has grown into her powers the most since the launch ofThe Legend of Vox Machina, and she is certainly one of the most promising members of the team by the end of season 3. Pike is a gnome like Scanlan, but unlike Scanlan, she is a servant of the Everlight.Pike’s devotion to the goddess Sarenrae gives her immense power, marking her out as the resident healer of Vox Machina, often offering invaluable services.

…Pike’s ability to resurrect both herself and her team members was continuously key to Vox Machina’s success.

At first, Pike seemed like she may be one ofthe weaker members of Vox Machina.Pike’s small physical presence and relative lack of know-how in a fight meant that she didn’t compare favorablyto team members like Grog or Vax’ildan. She relied quite a bit on teamwork to get through danger. However, Pike’s ability to resurrect both herself and her team members was continuously key to Vox Machina’s success. And, inThe Legend of Vox Machinaseason 3, it was revealed that there may be more to Pike than meets the eye.

Although supported by the Everlight,Pike journeyed through hell in season 3and won a card game against the devil Zerxus Ilerez, showing an uncanny intelligence and insight. The paladin was told by the devil that she had devil’s blood in her, which could make her far more powerful than she or anyone else realized. The hell underplot confirmed that Pike was a wild card in Vox Machina and one to watch in coming seasons.

1Keyleth

Half-Elf Druid

Keyleth emerged fromThe Legend of Vox Machinaseason 3 looking like the strongest member of the team. Or, at the very least, the member of the team with the most potential for mind-blowing power to come.Keyleth is an Ashari druidand is able to control plants and animals to her benefit and the benefit of her team. These skills have always been useful in the fight against the show’s evil dragons.

Who Is The Devil In Legend Of Vox Machina’s Hells Of Despath (& Why He’s Important)

While Pike does get the Plate of the Dawnmartyr from the fiend Zerxus Ilerez, he may yet have one more card to play in tempting her to evil.

However, season 3 proved thatKeyleth has not yet fully attuned to her abilitiesand that the awesome strength she showed thus far was just the tip of the iceberg. Keyleth demonstrated a certain level of shapeshifting ability, using sand to manifest herself in a remote location to communicate with others. Keyleth can control multiple elements, which falls in line with her Ashari background - the four Ashari tribes guard portals to the Elemental Planes. Keyleth will surely be branching out further in season 4.

As confirmed inThe Legend of Vox Machinaseason 3, “it takes years for Earth Ashari to master their powers,” suggesting why it may be taking Keyleth so long to come into her own. Keyleth’s lack of confidence significantly hindered her throughoutThe Legend of Vox Machina, and watching her grow and begin to believe in herself was a major highlight of season 3, proving that theD&Dshow prioritized character development with meaning beyond a fight between good and evil.
