Dragon BallDaimahas introduced many incredible elements to the franchise’s world, but the latest reveal teases a new, and much more powerful, version ofDragon Ball Z’slast antagonist Majin Buu. Buu was already an incredibly powerful opponent in the original series, and he was able to defeat pretty much all of the series' strongest fighters at that point. Though Buu was eventually defeated by Goku,Daimajust set up a new version of the classic villain that could be much more dangerous than the original.
InDragon Ball Daima Episode 8, Dr. Arinsu, the manipulative sibling of the Supreme Kai who wishes to betray Gomah and become the new ruler of the demon kind, reveals that she’s working withMajin Buu’s real creator Marbato make a stronger version of Buu that is much more controllable. If successful, this creature could go on a rampage, like its original version, forcing Goku and his friends to stop it before it is too late.

A New Majin Buu Could Soon Rise
Arinsu and Marba Are Working Hard to Recreate This Monster
As King Gomah reviewed moments from the battle between the Z Warriors and Majin Buu in his palace during episode 8 of theDragon Ball DAIMAanime, Degesu noticed a mysterious figure observing the fight from afar. This enigmatic individual was revealed to be Arinsu, who could be seen collecting pieces of Majin Buu duringVegeta’s tragic but erroneous sacrifice during Z’s Buu Saga. Shortly after, the episode explained that the Glind did this in hopes of creating a better and more obedient version of the pink monster, to use as a weapon to kill Gomah.
Dragon Ball Daima Reveals the Supreme Kai’s Origins (and It Is Seriously Strange)
Dragon Ball Daima delved into just how the Supreme Kai and his species came to be, and the answer is truly bizarre, even for Dragon Ball.
Arinsu is working with the creator of the first Majin Buu, an outstandingly powerful witch named Marba. Together, they are trying to create a demon who will be completely obedient to the scientist and powerful enough to defeat Gomah in combat. Given that the episode concluded moments after this shocking revelation, it is still unclear if the duo will accomplish their mission or not. Nonetheless, the series strongly hinted at this new Majin becoming a major threat to the heroes in future episodes.

Arinsu Could Bring Ruin to the Demon Realm
The New Majin Will likely Go On A Rampage
One of the first details fans learned about the original Majin Buu inDragon Ball DAIMAwas the untold devastation it caused after being created. This is one of the reasons why the inhabitants of the Demon Realm feared this creature, which makes sense as he wasone ofDragon Ball’smost powerful villains ever. Arinsu’s desire to become the new ruler of the demons, as well as a massive ego, led the Glind to believe that she could control a new Majin without issues. Nevertheless, the series has already hinted at this not being the case.
Majin Buu is the only main antagonist in the originalDragon Ballthat Goku beats with a spirit bomb.

If, at any point during the creation, the spell goes wrong, the scientist and Marba will have created a major threat to their home. Goku and his friends, who are still in child form and have suffered a significant loss in power, would be the ones tasked with defeating this new villain. Arinsu’s Majin could become the final antagonist of the series, forcing demons and Earthlings to join forces in hopes of defeating it.
The New Majin Could Push The Heroes To A New Level
DAIMA Still Has Not Introduced A Unique Transformation
As the story ofDragon Ball DAIMAhas progressed, fans have noticed that this latest entry has yet to reveal a unique form, a trait shared by most other entries in the franchise. Due to its placement in the timeline, revealing a never-seen-before technique is tricky, as it could cause issues with future events. Nonetheless, the inevitable fight against Arinsu’s creations might be the ideal moment to introduce something unique to the series.
Seeing as this final confrontation will be an homage to the Buu Saga, it could be time for Goku and Vegeta to utilizetheir new type of fusion, the enigmatic join bugs. This could result in a new fused warrior being born, different from Vegito or Gogeta. Another possibility is the awakening of a new type of transformation, one that helps the heroes gain back the power they lost when transformed into kids.

Whether Shin’s sibling successfully controls their creation or not, this plot will certainly continue to be relevant to the story ofDragon Ball DAIMA. Like most details about this beloved show, a new Majin will work perfectly as an homage toone of theDragon Ball’s best arcs. Fans will not want to miss the conclusion of this intriguing story.
