Blizzard has revealed thatDiablo 4will be making its way to the PlayStation 5 Pro, but figuring out when is a different story. While the PlayStation 5 Pro was not met with open arms by Sony fans, that doesn’t mean players won’t enjoy all Sanctuary has to offer with the enhanced graphics.

As spotted byVGC,Diablosenior Vice President and General ManagerRod Fergussonposted on X stating"I’ve been getting this question quite a bit recently and I’m happy to say that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced!"

This sparked the question of a timeline for the release almost instantly, which will most likely not be getting an answer any time soon.

Diablo 4 Is Coming To The PS5 Pro

When That Will Happen Remains A Mystery

Though Fergusson mentions that this enhanced version of bothDiablo 4andVessel of Hatredwill be coming to the PlayStation 5 Pro, the details on when are foggy. As mentioned in the post, further details will be revealed at a later date, but givenVessel of Hatred’srelease is imminent, some fans are champing at the bit for a time frame. Others are more upset that Xbox players are being “neglected.”

According to @Alejandromp66 on X, PS5 Pro versions should not be available for Xbox games. They say,“It’s already too much for Xbox to release its games on PS5 So that now the best console version is the PS5 Pro @Xbox @XboxP3 @BondSarah_Bond just focus on Xbox.“While this may be true for some, it seems most are just excited to see Sanctuary in a whole new light with the enhanced versions coming to the latest Sony platform.

The Price Tag Is A Major Factor

Several pre-existing titles are beingenhanced for the PlayStation 5 Pro, includingHogwarts LegacyandThe Last of Us Part 2 Remasteredto name a few. Even with all the new additions, fans seem to berevolting against the steep price tag. Given that it will cost a whopping $700, this isn’t shocking, but it begs the question, willDiablo 4fans be more inclined to purchase one given the announcement by Blizzard?

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatredhits the market on October 8, but pre-downloads for those who have pre-ordered the title are already rolling out. With the revelation ofDiablo 4coming to the PS5 Pro, some fans wonder if this is just the start of Microsoft games slowly being supported by Sony’s premium console.

Personally, I would love to see more titles be enhanced for the PS5 Pro because of the simple fact that I enjoy gaming with friends who have already upgraded or plan to. Time will only tell if even more pre-existing titles will make their way to thePlayStation 5 Pro, but will that be enough to make up for the price tag?
