Destiny 2hosts its fair share of yearly events, with the Solstice and Guardian Games being just one of them; however, each event introduces new rewards, and this year, the Solstice also introduces a new bounty system used to reward Guardians with the yearly armor. In years past, Guardians had to complete the Bonfire Bash activity while wearing solstice armor,but this year,players must complete bountiesand turn them in for currency rewards. Interestingly, developers did not choose to create an event Pathfinder under thenew Pathfinder progression system; instead, they chose to return to tried-and-true bounties.
This bounty system provides randomized bounties for players to earn currency, Alloy,with each armor piece costing 100 Armor Alloy.With five armor pieces per character, that’s quite a few bounties that players must pick up, complete, and then turn in to earn each piece of the armor set. Earn Silver Leaves, Buy And Reroll Bounties, Unlock Armor Using Alloys
Upon launchingDestiny 2after last week’s update, all players will receive a new quest notification telling them to talk to Eva Levante in the Tower. Eva is the event vendor for many ofDestiny 2’s seasonal events, so chat with her in her usual spot.She will give you a quest and the new Solstice Forge, where you’re able to manage and track your event-related materials.
This is also where you will pick up each bounty and purchase your armor pieces.

With the difference in rewards for each “tier” of bounty, it’s difficult to know which are the most effective for getting your armor ASAP. Generally, the bounties that reward the most Alloy ask you to play harder endgame content in exchange for your reward. If you’re a veteran player with builds for any scenario, you shouldn’t have too much trouble completing these bounties, but they might take you a while.One “high tier” bounty asks you to complete two raid encounters, so bounties like those can only be completed alone if you’re truly confident in your skill.
