Her return could help build the dynamic of the group, and help to make Donnie a more well-rounded character overall. Big Nick Passed The Point Of No Return
The ending ofDen of Thieves 2: Panterafeatured a twist that could be seen from a mile away. However, the film redeems itself by offering another surprise. As it turns out, Big Nick was working with the local authorities to bring down the Panther gang from the inside, and he succeeded in getting Donnie and his crew locked up. Revenge didn’t taste all that sweet to Big Nick, and he realized that he had formed a real connection with his former foe. Finally turning his back on law and order,Nick helped break Donnie and the crew out of jail.
This note only seals Nick’s fate by permanently making him a criminal, but it establishesDen of Thievesas a true buddy crime franchise.Den of Thieves 3could follow the duo as they concoct some new moneymaking scheme involving a heist of some other form of theft. Since the diamond heist didn’t net them any cash, they’ll need to find a way to make some money. However,with Nick and Donnie becoming the heroes of the series, they will likely find a motivation for their crimes that makes them a bit more justifiable.
