Venom/Deadpool: What If?…was a major departure from how he would usually look while wearing the symbiote, but it was far more unique, and undoubtedly where cosplayers such as @venompooljosh have pulled inspiration from.

One of the key things to note about this cosplay is the red appearance, which actually isn’t that common whenDeadpool wears the Venom symbiote. More often than not, when Deadpool puts the Venom symbiote on, it simply takes on its classic black appearance. This is best seen inDeadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again, when Deadpool takes on the symbiote so he can sneak up and kill Spider-Man. In this form, he’s practically no different from Eddie Brock. InDeadpool’s Secret Wars#3, Deadpool wore the Venom symbiote, and again it was simply the classic black and white.
