One Moment Between Jeff And Troy Has Become Legendary
While trying to convince Troy to take up football again, he takes him to the football field where Jeff tells Troy that he was meant to play football. In a hilarious exchange, Troy tells Jeff what he said was racist, but the conversation somehow turns back on Troy where Jeff accuses him of saying something that stereotypes people of color.The exchange is one of the funniest moments inCommunityand is certainly one of the highlights of season 1.

Communitywould go on to have 6 successful seasons, so it’s safe to say that whatever Dan Harmon started doing inCommunityseason 1, episode 6 worked. The rest ofCommunityseason 1 really saw the show figure itself out, but after “Football, Feminism, and You” it’s clear that it was starting on its upward trajectory. With theCommunitymovie hopefully on the horizon, fans can look forward to more character growth and hilarious moments from the Greendale study group in the vein of “Football, Feminism, and You”.
