Of course, by this point in the game, this duo is well past their problems with one another. The final installment of the Netflix series instead sees them come together to bring theirstudents back to the Sekai Taikai, this time hosted at the Valley. Daniel LaRusso is the underdog karate champion who started it all. When he returned toCobra Kai, he played a surprisingly antagonistic role, swapping places with Johnny as the affluent bully. However, in season 6, part 3, Daniel and Johnny have developed a heartwarming friendship. The primary problem in Daniel’s life at this point in the story is his conflicted memory of Mr. Miyagi.
Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz

Miguel Diaz was Johnny’s first studentat the newly established Cobra Kai, and the two have remained close ever since. Though Miguel initially fell victim to the more damaging ways of John Kreese’s old dojo, he has since become a solidly moral character.Cobra Kaiseason 6, part 2 saw Miguel learn to support his Sekai Taikai captain and old rival, Robby. Part 3, however, takes Miguel on a fresh, exciting journey as he goes back to his roots with sensei Johnny Lawrence.

Buchanan plays Robby inCobra Kai, the at-first estranged son of Johnny Lawrence. Part 2 was quite a journey for Robby, whose confidence took a hit when his relationship with Tory fell to pieces. However,the Netflix series' final installment sees Robby back on the top of his game.

List’sCobra Kaicharacter, Tory Nichols, becomes Cobra Kai’s queen bee under John Kreese’s guidance, and she develops a close relationship with the man as a result. In later seasons ofCobra Kai, Tory’s morality began to shift, and she patched up her relationship with Sam and other Miyagi-Do rivals. She was supposed to fight for Daniel’s dojo in the Sekai Taikai but made a last-minute change that shocked her friends. Going intoCobra Kaiseason 6, part 3, Tory must deal with the death of her co-captain, Kwon.

Cobra Kai season 6 introduces a new villain not dissimilar to Kreese, and this newcomer can become Karate Kid’s main antagonist for years to come.
John Kreese was Johnny Lawrence’s sensei and father-like figure at Cobra Kai, but this fell apart when the student lost against Daniel at the All-Valley tournament in 1984. Since then, Kreese’s relationship with just about everyone has been tumultuous. He brought a knife to the Sekai Taikai, intending to murder Terry Silver with it, but this action ultimately led to the death of one of his own students. This is something Kreese has to grapple with inCobra Kaiseason 6, part 3.

Griffith returned to play Terry Silver inCobra Kai, and this villain quickly became the overarching threat to Johnny and Daniel’s dojos. While Silver was arrested at the end ofCobra Kaiseason 5, he made a surprise return in season 6, part 2, whenit was revealed that he had purchased the Iron Dragon dojo led by Sensei Wolf. This gives Silver an unfortunate stake in the Sekai Taikai going intoCobra Kaiseason 6, part 3.

Hannah-Kim plays Sensei Kim Da-eun inCobra Kai, the granddaughter of John Kreese’s original teacher, Master Kim. She started out hard and cruel, but byCobra Kaiseason 6, part 2, she had begun to see how damaging Kreese and Silver’s dojo drama really was. After her own student died at the Sekai Taikai, Kim was forced to make some tough decisions inCobra Kaiseason 6, part 3.
