The final season ofBosch: Legacyhas been announced ahead of the show’s return to Prime Video. Counting the time he spent with the original series, actor, and executive producer, Titus Welliver has been in the role of Detective Harry Bosch since 2014.Bosch: Legacywill be back for season 3, and the spinoff is essentially a continuation of the main show. It brought back attorney Honey Chandler (played by Mimi Rogers), and Maddie Bosch (Madison Lintz), Harry’s daughter, with the season 2 finale ending with Maddie questioning her faith in her father and what he’s capable of.

When she uncovers a larger conspiracy during her investigations, she’ll lean on the assistance of her retired ally, Harry Bosch, to navigate the dangers that threaten both her unit and her life.
Boschand the Ballard spinoffwill cross over frequently, at least at first.Q will crossover with Titus Welliver’s Harry Bosch in theBosch: Legacyseason 3 finale, which is now also the series finale. The episode will also partially function as Ballard’s introduction. Welliver will also appear as his long-running character in three episodes during the spinoff’s first season, potentially offering closure to his long-running character depending on whenthe spinoff releases in fall 2025.

Bosch and Bosch: Legacy have both been remarkably consistent in terms of writing and acting, but some story lines still stand out from the rest.

It’s unclear if Welliver will continue hisBoschrole beyond helping to launch the spinoff. But it at least means that his long-running character might have an avenue to continue appearing, along with those closest to him, even if he’s no longer the main character.
