Summary
Ever since the start ofBoruto: Two Blue Vortex,Kawakihas been nonstop disappointing power-wise, but his chance to redeem himself is finally near. With the first arc of the second part of the series nearly over, a switch of the focus to Kawaki is inevitable and everything has been set up for his ascent to glory.
In chapter #13 ofBoruto: Two Blue Vortex, fans got to see the first meeting between Kashin Koji and Boruto. Koji revealed his Shinjutsu power, Prescience, which allowed him to see the future and multiple timelines. This power is due toAmado implanting the cells of Otsutsuki Shibai into him as well as the other Kara inners, and he awakened it after losing and nearly dying to Ishikki.

Shibai is the strongest-known Otsutsuki, one who reached “true godhood” and transcended the mortal plane. It is known thatAmado has a keen interest in Kawakiand has modified his body already, and it is very likely he imbued him with Shibai cells too. If this is true, thena path has been opened for Kawaki’s ascent to strengththat will make him as strong as the Kawaki fans got to see at the beginning of the series.
Boruto Finally Reveals The Brutal True Meaning Of Its Flash-Forward, & It’s Brilliant
Boruto finally revealed the reasoning behind the series' iconic opening scene, making it even more tragic than it seemed initially.
Kawaki Could Become Stronger By Unlocking a Shinjutsu
Amado’s Subtle Influence Will Be Felt Again
Kashin Koji revealed that while many people have Shibai Cells, awakening a Shinjutsu is random and is entirely dependent on luck. Based on Eida awakening it in a moment of distress and Kashin Koji activating Prescience on the verge of death, it seemsa moment of desperation increases the likeliness of acquiring this godly power. So far, the only confirmed Shinjutsu are Clairvoyance, Omnipotence, Claw Marks, Reflection, and Prescience, and hopefully, Kawaki will add a new one to this list.
So far, he has Sukunakihona, Daikokuten, and Karma Release, and he also learned Shadow Clones and Fire Style, so he might keep getting stronger afterbeing mocked by Boruto for his lack of training. As powerful as Shinjutsu can be, not all of them are suited for combat, such as Prescience and Clairvoyance, so even if Kawaki does end up with this power, it could end up not fitting his aggressive fighting style at all. Furthermore, Kawaki will possibly be forced into an intense fight with a powerful foe, resulting in his awakening, as Kawaki has usually developed mostly through fights.

While the potential of Kawaki is very exciting, this new development raises another question: how did Amado get his hand on Shibai cells and what does he want with Kawaki? WithBoruto: Two Blue Vortexalmost done with its first arc, the second protagonist will finally get his shine after a wake-up call. From losing immediately to Jura, being humiliated by Boruto, and failing to rescue Himawari himself, howKawakideals with these events will be interesting and will develop his character as a true deuteragonist inBoruto: Two Blue Vortex.
