Captain Glennposted a screenshot of someone’s Instagram Story that mentioned him. Based on who’s featured in the photo, it seems like it came from Danni’s account.TheBelow Deckstar opened up her Instagram Stories for fan questions, and someone asked her if Glenn is “as amazing IRL as he seems.”
Danni responded by boasting that the captain is “too good for this world,“with a crying face emoji, among others. She ended her answer by saying that everyone needs to “protect him at all costs,” adding a knife emoji at the very end. The photo she included with her Instagram Story showed her smiling next to Glenn, who posed with duck lips.

In a recent episode, the captain and First Officer Gary King confronted deckhand Emma and fired her after she was unable to execute basic tasks of her job. She was then replaced by returning cast member Chase Lemacks. At another point in the season, Chef Cloyce Martin came under fire for the way he prepared the meals for the charter guests.

However, there are signs thatDanni is the real villain ofSailing Yachtbecauseshe’s been feuding with Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher and trying to get fellow stew Diana Cruz to go against their superior. If this behavior continues and ends up really affecting their ability to properly do their jobs, then there could be a scenario in which Daisy divulges to Captain Glenn what’s been going on, and they fire Danni. So far, things haven’t escalated quite that far yet.
However, with about half of the season still left to air, there’s plenty of time for the tides to turn and wash Danni’s job out to sea. I don’t think Danni will be fired, though, unless things get really out of control. Emma’s inability to grasp basic tasks of her job kept pulling everyone down, making it that much harder for the deck crew to keep up with Captain Glenn’s high expectations. Danni’s feud with Daisy is typical behavior onBelow Deck.Danni and Glenn clearly have no issues with each other, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the former returned next season, whether or not Daisy is the chief stew.
