Assassin’s Creed Shadowshas a massive list of legendary weapons for both characters, each with its own unique skill or ability buff. There are eight majorweapon typesin the game. Naoe’s melee weapons include the Katana, the Tanto, and the Kusarigama. Yasuke’s three melee weapons are the Long Katana, Naginata, and Kanabo, while he also has two ranged weapons, the Teppo and Bow. While you’ll find epic and lower-quality gear all overAC Shadows, legendary items are rare and require a bit more work.
Legendary weapons are awarded for finishing side and main quests, completing target boards, for tracking down treasure chests in sometimes obscure locations, or for completingKofuns inAC Shadows, among others. Further, acquiring a legendary weapon will automatically unlock the engraving that corresponds with that particular weapon’s ability. Legendary weapons cannot be sold or dismantled, so there is no risk of losing them once acquired. Weapons will also scale with your character’s level, so the individual stats will vary depending on when you pick them up.

This Tanto makes any afflicted enemy Vulnerable,causing them to take higher damageand essentially melting their health bar.Igan Sunsetis a fun one, slowing down time when you use the Tanto Escape Strikeskill inAC Shadows.

This Kusarigama increases damage on enemies over three meters away, enhancing the AoE damage for enemy swarms.

This Naginata is one of the best options available as well,stacking damage for your next attack with each block.

It’s also the highest damage-dealing weapon in the game. Recommendations include theDaybreak’s Furylegendary Kanabo, which sends shrapnel flying to hit nearby enemies when you break an enemy’s armor.

Regardless of your playstyle or character preferences, there are a ton of legendary weapon options available to experiment with, and since you can re-spec for free anytime, it’s easy to try out new weapons as you pick them up.Certain legendary weapons simply outshine others in their respective categories, depending on your strategy/playstyle, such as my personal favorites, the Daybreak’s Fury Kanabo or the Ocean’s Grip Kusarigama.

If you have a particular legendary you really like, be sure to keep upgrading it as you advance through the levels to maintain its efficacy. You candismantle unwanted gearat the forge if you’re short on materials. Overall, legendary items are an integral part ofAssassin’s Creed Shadowsand will be a top priority.
